I use this DVD player for watching DVDs, and videos from the internet. USBs play very well and so do the DVDs. The sound is amazing for a small machine and the picture quality is better than on my desktop PC. It is fairly heavy but it is a 19 inch machine and the free carry case is, therefore, most useful. The battery indicator is not visible as it is underneath and you have to tip the machine up to see it, Overall, this is the best portable DVD player I have owned - I have had three before - and I would definitely recommend it if you want a larger screen and good quality build and excellent sound and picture. I was most impressed by the customer service, especially Olivia who was most helpful when my original order did not arrive. I would definitely buy from them again.

I bought this portable product as I wanted to use it whilst sitting outdoors in my summer house, it has a decent battery life to be able to watch a couple of film length DVD's, it looks sleek and screen size is perfect. I am VERY hard of hearing and found the sound (when outdoors ) wasn't loud enough for my hearing, however when asking advise from the seller with regards to compatable headphones I did get a very speedy response and now have great headphones that work perfectly when using the player outdoors. Would recommend this product to friends and family.

Good picture quality (better than expected) and has not yet failed to play a DVD. Sound less good - volume is poor from built-in speakers and need headphones or external speaker. Limited range of formats supported when playing from USB stick and navigation menu is poor when looking for files. Build quality seems good and I would recommend as a portable personal DVD player but poor sound volume might limit its suitability for family viewing unless you connect an external speaker.

I had bought one of these units before but it was a smaller one and I absolutely adored it, so when I saw one with a bigger screen I ordered it and gave the smaller one to my daughter. Unfortunately when the new one arrived it was faulty. This really upset me , because as a disabled lady, my unit was so convenient to watch all my box sets without the hassle of calling someone to change a conventional dvd. ( I don’t like watching anything on the computer or tv). I contacted the company that sold it through Amazon and they really couldn’t do enough for me. They have a first rate customer service team who were really polite and professional. They acted quickly with regards to a refund and replacement of the unit. I am really happy with the new one. I hope it works as well as my old one. I will definitely order from this company again.

The picture quality is good and the unit is easy to operate. However there are one or two niggles with it. There is a constant background very low volume buzzing noise when playing DVD's. The closure lid catch for the disc drive is flimsy and looks like it could break very easily.

Bought this for our motorhome and it is brilliant. Picture quality is superb with plenty of options to fine tune. The main reason I chose this was the fact it had HDMI input, coupled with the USB it means I can put my Amazon Firestick in it and power it from the USB. Works perfectly. DVD playback is excellent too. A fantastic piece of kit at a very reasonable price.

Nice size, good sound, great screen, can also play music

This seemed a well enough made product with a neat remote and decent length mains cable. Worked immediately on unboxing and inserting disk. Disc whir and chatter not too obtrusive and to be expected. BUT, and its a very big BUT. The sound was completely ruined by a continuous high pitched whine. This could be heard clearly over any speech and most background music on every DVD - all commercial discs which work perfectly in another portable player. The whine stopped if the sound was muted! The Dolby Digital Sound menu did not respond to changes - it was set on an option which sort of matched the mix-mono option but would not respond if any other option including Stereo, L-mono or R-mono were selected. Altering the Dynamic mode did nothing I am not sure why the refund time for this product is 14 days? .
