Cheap construction and poor technology. It is functional, but slow and glitchy.

Don't rely on these reviews. Most of them for Philips, not RipTunes. Impossible to fast forward. Useless big screen - everything to small on it. Who needs camera or even radio? MP3 makers can't compete with smartphones on these. Just try to make better player.

I got this because I was intriqued by the prospect of playing my music thru my car stereo without wires, especially when the cord is 6 feet and it only has to reach less than a foot. So I took a chance. I have to say I'm very impressed. Works like a champ so far. The only complaint I have is the scrollilng is ONE speed: SLOW. I'd have deducted half a star for that, but didn't have that option, hence the 4 stars. Works great with my new Bluetooth speakers and streaming adaptor on my car stereo, so it does everything I wanted it to do. I'm very happy with it.

I had one of these and I cracked the face so it wouldn't work. They were back ordered so I had three different mp3 players while waiting for supply. This is the only player I could get to play songs alphabetically and start the next day where I left off the day before. I drive a semi so I love having my tunes they sound awesome with my system and bluetooth means I have no cords in the way. There are no other mp3's that come close and I have tried 6 of them. I hope they don't quit making these, at least until I expire

scrolling is very difficult and erratic, Battery does not last very long. I like gadgets that can last at least 7 hrs. This one goes for about 4 hrs.

Works really good i love it

Purchased this item for my Daughter for Christmas, package wasn't damaged, but as soon as we turned it on we noticed a crack in the LCD screen. So I returned it, and got another, the new unit when fully charged stays charged for about 7 minutes before dying. Beyond that the screen doesn't look nearly as clear as pictures, it just overall feels cheap. Ended up with a Sony mp3 player which has been completely the opposite experience. If this was twenty bucks it might be worth the risk, but at forty and up, save your money.
