Paint By Numbers 16 x 20 inch Canvas Art Kit Diy Oil Painting for Kids/Students/Adults Beginner, Holiday, Paint0049-a

I've completed several paint by numbers paintings this year and this is my least favorite, which is unfortunate because the actual beach scene is beautiful. But the canvas is difficult to paint on. The numbers are so small, they cannot be read even when magnified. The paint was very thick and "goopy" . And although the paint was so thick, I had a hard time covering the red lines and black numbers on the canvas. With so many other paintings to choose from, I would stay away from this one.

The paints I received did not match up with the painting #4,5,&6 are way off in color. I will have to figure out something so the painting looks like it should, I hope the rest of the paint colors will work out ok. The paints dry out very quickly and are hard to use even when you add a little water to them.

This turned out amazing for my in laws even added a heart in sand to personalize this

From the very first moment I opened the paint pots, I knew this was not going to be a fun PBN set. The paint is almost like glue- so it is very goopy and dried out. Adding water helped but not much. The canvas is very much like an absorbent paper towel in that it soaks up the paint and it also has a larger grain that makes it hard to get a smooth even result. The paint is also not the colors in the picture. The paint for the sand is like a lemon yellow and not a beige brown - kinda weird. I will finish it but I don't recommend it at all. BUT TOO BAD BECAUSE the picture they sent is lovely.

Worst readability on any PBN I've done, and I've done quite a few. It's covid. I'm bored. But numbers on canvas are so tiny you cannot tell if it's a 23, 25 etc. Even with a magnifying glass. Color paper sample of finished product is the size of a postcard, so no help there. And the paper guide you get is even worse. Paints ok, one was totally dried up and I had to guess on how to match color. Brushes better than average

It was a lot of fun to work on. I got it because my parents bought a beach house and I wanted to get them a housewarming gift. Some cons though were that some of the tiny numbers were really hard to read so I had to guess what color and also some of the paints were thick and wouldn’t spread on the canvas, but I just added some water to help thin out the paint and that worked. It doesn’t come with any wood to wrap the canvas around so you have to buy a frame for it. All in all it was worth the money to get and I definitely enjoyed myself painting it while watching Netflix or listening to music. Very relaxing.

This is the third paint-by-numbers that I am working on, so I have some basis of comparison.The canvas is ridiculously rough to paint on. It’s like painting on sandpaper. The provided brushes are also of a poor quality. The combination makes it very very difficult to paint places like the coconut tree leaves

This canvas was poorly printed. Numbers were offset, not within the lines. Hardy to tell which color went where. The paint was awful! Very thick, goopy, and I had to thin with water. Didn’t finish it.
