Great in everything minus one or two. The buttons reaction to touch are too fast, causing to send it into overdrive... skipping the feature that you want to use. The other thing that bothered me enough not to use it primarily as a music player is the fallowing. , On a dark environment, the button lights are too bright and cause a great distraction by night. They are brilliant red, If you don’t activate them, the exact place where the controls are are very difficult to find, so it is a choice between bad and bad.What I like:1) Great sound! Superb sound on Bluetooth connection2) Bluetooth to listen through speakers3) it records conversations or whatever using just the press of a button, which is very responsive and efficient,4) Ease of transfer of music. The ease of recording was the only major factor for my decision to keep it, because all other things can be had in a less expensive packages except -recording. Or so I thought.5) controls are easy to remember and use.The only non-ergonomically positions dis the lock button. Who wants to lock the device having to push up? I have to grab it with both hands when it would be easier with one. Even without looking. One kind of “disadvantage” is a personal dislike of the metal surface.; not that it is a problem, but I prefer the rubber feel of smaller devices. It is also not so small as compared to other like others,. but for some, specially big hands guys, bigger can be better. and the difference in size is not so striking, Bur being metallic, I fear it can slide from th e hands or crack when falling or bumping into things.I thought about returning it because it would be used primarily as a music player, but is the perfect voice recorder and it will double as music player if in need. So I’m keeping it for recording voice memos.Primarily. Smaller and rubbery alternatives to music are better for me, given my personal preferences, but I do recommend it if you don’t mind these details that bother me, but other users might not care about. One last thing, I didn’t like the hanging antenna to use bluetooth, too much real state flapping around for a small device, something else to take care of. Overall, it is a “4.5”,; a 50 five if it had all the things I like. For the money, more than what I have on my iPhone.

Purchased the mp3 for my daughter and she loved it, until the screen stop displaying after 2 months. Contact the HonTaseng support and was told they will send a replacement. Followed up a few times, never hear back again. Wish the screen lasts longer and better customer support.
