The bezel was as robust as stock(I did not expect that from an import part)

For the first 7 months (Jan/2019-July/2019) of ownership this camera worked pretty decently. It had an undulating lines on my camera screen. I thought it was odd for a camera to do that. It would be a 4 star review if it wasn’t for the issue I am currently experiencing. Last month (Late July) I lost over half of the pixels in the camera itself. Either they burnt out or water somehow made it in the lens. I contacted the company and I am hoping to get my replacement camera so I can have safety while backing up my truck and trailer.

I installed this backup camera to go with my new Double din stereo with a 7 inch screen. I was surprised by how clear the video was from the camera. If your looking for a great backup camera, this is it. Very easy to find my boat hitch zone now and at half the cost. Thanks!

I did not receive the plastic wiring harness loom needed to install the camera.The camera looks great but not giving your customers all the items that were supposed to be included for the job is a bad look.

Overall strait forward to install on my 2011 Silverado. Tapped into reverse light positive for trigger wire. Camera Quality is good paired with my Pioneer AVH-4200NEX. Works great for when the wife needs to use the truck.The only down side to this model over the GM version is it not having a weather tight quick disconnect plug.

Worked great for about a year than it started acting up. It would work on and off for about another 5 months till it finally just stopped working all together. I recently tried to check all my connections and I am getting power. Everything is connected fine but the camera itself just crapped out. Do not buy.

Works great. Low light is still awesome. parking lines were fine, but i turned them off (by cutting the green wire) because i like the adjustable lines from my Alpine Ilx-107 head unit. Fits perfectly in the tailgate of my 09 Sierra 1500.

This camera installed worked great, now I can see what behind me when I back up. The install was fairly easy only thing thattook the most time was running the wires from the back of the truck to the front but nothing difficult just time consuming.The picture from the camera is excellent and the handle looks OEM so it looks like it came from factory.

Camera works great! I did have to order an aftermarket adapter to get this camera to work for my factory navigation system. Then have it programmed to be accepted by my truck. The company has contacted me about where I got the adapter so they have the information now. And it does make me feel better that this business is willing to help out however they can!

The backup camera worked as expected, and fit correctly. My primary reason for purchasing was for hooking up to trailers easier, and I can see my entire 2" ball in the screen, so I'm happy. I wish there was a way to fine-tune the aiming of the camera, as it's not quite centered, and I see one end of the bumper a bit better than the other, and cannot see the center of the bumper below. Thankfully, seeing the hitch ball gives me a reference point. The picture quality is plenty good for its intended use, on a Pioneer 7" screen.Install was simple, but since my new Pioneer stereo had an input for the camera and a power for the camera, I used that to feed the camera and just grounded the camera back behind the tailgate. Instructions would have me instead use the backup lights for power and would be feeding 12v to a mirror or separate backup screen. If you're not comfortable with figuring out that level of wiring, it's likely the whole install is something you should leave to a pro.The wiring includes plenty of coax cable, standard RCA plug plus 12v, and a nice plug to facilitate removing the tailgate. Also included wire loom to protect the small coax.I felt this was a good product that met my expectations at this price point. I'd do it again and recommend it to friends.

Instructions was very clear and to the point and wire length was perfect. I have it connected to my reverse lights and it switch from radio to backup camera as stated. Doesn't feel cheap and very happy with my results

I installed this backup camera on my 2008 Silverado 2500hd. The bezel is indeed an oem GM part with GM part #. I Connected this camera to my pioneer double din, looks great! picture quality is just as good if not better than the oem backup cameras from GM. I have not had any issues with it.
