Japanese for "pressure point," Tsubo is a design-driven company founded by British designers Nick O'Rorke and Patrick McNulty in July 1997. Tsubo is designed for the fashion conscious, comfort-driven individual who wants the highest-quality materials along with the highest-quality product. The soles are built with comfort in mind -- all of the styles have the unique cushion oval bubbles strategically placed on the sole at various pressure points of the foot for the highest amount of comfort. These bubbles not only provide comfort, but they also allow you to instantly recognize that these are Tsubo shoes.

Patent leather fetish
I am a true fan of patent leather and whenever I see a great bag, shoes or boots I have to have them. I purchase them for alot less than the famous retail store so that was an added bonus. Lets not forget how comfortable they are as well. So grab a pair and you won't be disappointed,

I kept them because they're totally sweet but extremely tight

Returned this and eventually bought a larger size and different color (elsewhere)
I waiver between a 9 and 9.5, and the 9s in this boot were WAY too small. I thought they looked nice, but after looking at the options more closely, I decided that I'd prefer the patent version. I returned these and got the 9.5 in black patent (elsewhere). I have gotten quite a few compliments on the boots. They are relatively comfortable, but I put my ortho insoles in them on a recent trip to New York City. My only complaint about the patent boots is that they get kind of a filmy look to them, so you have to keep them polished up.

Nice boots. The patent is very smart looking
Nice boots. The patent is very smart looking. There just wasn't enough support in the boot and it was too snug to put in an insole.

Great
I was looking for a flat boot that was reasonably priced. I found it. The boot is comfortable and it fits nicely. I would recommend it to others.

not for thin calves-
it says these boots are 14 inch in the calf- they are not- 15 inches and then some. this type of boot should fit tight in calf but they were big looked gappy. The heel protrudes back and is a little odd. Too bad bc it could of been a cute look but they went right back.

EEhh...
I prefer a heeled boot. I love Tsubo and own about 6 of their boots but these had to go back. They also fit a bit large.
