ProCare Universal Deluxe Rib Belt (Women Universal Size)

I have ribs that sublet and was suggested that I try a rib belt. Did some reading on different options and found this fit the price and reviews. It is soft and easy to put on. Made me feel more comfortable right way. For durability I can not say yet.

After years- make that decades - of on and off pain from a torn rib cartilage, I finally realized that I needed help dealing with this old injury which is never going to heal. I admit my ignorance; I didn't even know there were specific rib belts so I began my search by looking for back belts until a friend suggested that I look for rib belts.I made my selection as many people do - I read the reviews. Since some folks had suggested that this size was not a universal size but rather small, so I measured first so that I could order only once. It does fit well. Unstretched, this belt is 36" long so I have a lot of stretched overlap.\I don't wear it in direct contact with my skin but over a this cotton tee something I always wear in the winter. This works well and is very comfortable. There is no question but that this belt is made for women. Brava!My problem is that I miss it when I take it off but the pain is considerably less after wearing it for a day so I can't complain. I'm sure I'll be ordering another because I never want to be without one and there will be times when it is in the laundry waiting for a hand wash and line dry.By the way, this belt is made in Mexico and appears to be very well made.

I bought this rib belt in an attempt to fix my flare ribs. Within 2 hours of wearing it, I took it off and my ribs were no longer sticking out. I've been trying to fix that problem for YEARS. I do wear the belt often - just until my body builds up the right muscles to prevent my rib cage from sticking out. It is very comfy, and easy to adjust. I wear it over a cami but underneath my blouse/shirt. No one can tell I'm wearing it unless I wear something tighter. I have a pretty small frame - 105 lbs. and 5'5". This fits me well and would easily adjust to fit someone larger or smaller than myself. As a bonus, I've noticed my posture has improved since wearing this belt. It gives good support when working out - push ups, running, etc. Well worth the money!!!

I purchased this belt to help support a broken rib, and found it somewhat helpful. I like that it is adjustable and soft on the inside, but had trouble with the velcro closure rubbing on my skin because the closure was wider than the material underneath. It was probably due to the size of my torso - a small person would not have the same problem. I just wore it over a light t-shirt when I needed the extra support for lifting or moving around during the first few weeks. I would not recommend wearing it constantly, but it does help relieve pain and discomfort when moving.

Excellent rib support. Easy to put on by yourself. However, the strap that has the velcro closure on it is too wide on the end.....Needs to be tapered more. The corners hang over the edges of the bottom section, thus rubbing on your skin and causing pain and irritation. I finally applied tape over the corner ends of the closure tab so it would not irritate my skin so much. Other than that, I love the quality and comfort of the belt. And the price is good.

This probably works best depending on which rib is broken. Mine was one of the top ribs so in order to place it just right, it was way too tight around the armpit. I'm an averaged size woman and the size fit around my body OK. Probably would work best for a lower rib. If placed too high, it dents you under your armpit. For short periods of time, it worked OK and took the edge off the rib pain. You can't wear it all the time though. Actually you're not supposed to wear a brace all the time. But when you really have to move, it does take a bit of the pain away.

I took a chance I got this even though the measurements look wonky and the length of the product wasn't there I was in such pain that I needed something fast. Unfortunately I have a chest size of 41 which this brace doesn't even come together until I stretch it as hard as I can to fasten. So it's great to compress my rib and the pain went away but I really can't breathe and it's a little bit painful at the edges. I can't say that I'm completely disappointed just wish that there was A plus size women's rib belt because I'm a size 14–16 on top this definitely is too small. But I do really appreciate the way it's cut under the bust

I guess it depends on which ribs you breaks. I currently have multiple broke. Ribs but the one I'm having issues with is broke on the front and the back so it keeps shifting out of place. I was using my back brace to help support it but that was uncomfortable as it felt like I was wearing a corset. However the rib was right under my right breast and how this one is made it tightens RIGHT over that rib.So mine is useless. I will try returning it if I can. What I ended up doing is buying another back brace and cutting it down so if wasn't as wide and it didn't roll when I sat down.
