Lower one side of the stainless bracket, then pried up to snap through the hole . 5. Insert another side into the hole . 6. Put the base on then tighten the screws (pls don't too tighten the screws) .

Product quantity not as described or pictured.
The picture clearly shows a 4 anchor system. The description states a 4 anchor system. This company sells a 2 anchor system at a lesser price described and pictured as a 2 anchor system. I recieved two anchors in a 4 anchor box. It had both 2 and 4 anchor system lables attached. The sender has an inventory and or personal issue. They looked sturdy but much like all of Amazon there is no way for this kind of mistake to be fixed without having to return the product. Be careful you may get 4, you may get two. You have been warned. I would be happy to remove my review if I were being taken care of as a customer. There are ones out there that do the same job for less.

You NEED a rail cover or they will not tighten
I wish I k ew that I needed the plastic rail covers to make them fit snug. I just found this out after I fought installing them. I had to cut a rubber gasket to place between the top plate and the bed rail. If not, they will not tighten & they slide back and forth. I wish they mentioned that in the description instead of combing through reviews after the fact. Other than that, easy to install & seem to work fine.

Don’t fit
I returned them, they do not fit the stack pockets on my 1994 Silverado K2500.

Nice product
Nice packaging...easy install. It took less than a minute apiece to install.

Would not tighten
The tie downs would not tighten down on my 2006 Silverado. I had to make and use a gasket to get them to tighten. Have not used them to test sturdiness.
