Although the instructions say that they can be self installed, for the best application it was done by a pro at Best Buy for just under $150. The equipment now has the appearance of "factory installed".The system works like a charm and as promised. When backing, there is a beep when within 4' and if something passes within 4' when the system is engaged it beeps.One point was deducted for the sound of the beep. It is a loud unpleasant beep.

Not a bad product for the price
Product was fairly easy to install but the drill bit supplied is only for plastic bumpers joy metal bumpers. Sensors work while backing but the distance the sensors begin operating could be better

Pain in the butt!
Spend the money on a good system. You will get what you pay for with this. I followed all the directions to a T. I watched videos and I even read enough reviews to know better--half the time, it gives a constant beep. Really disappointed.

SIMPLE AND CHEAP
First of all i would like to say my old car had backup sensors so i would prefer them on my new car as well. This was installed on a 2013 Hyundai Elantra, and the silver sorta matches my car.1) $25 bucks for backup sensors? What a steal2) Installation was $100 at the shop i took it to, so it's better if you know how to do this yourself.3) There's a loud sound when you put your transmission into reverse (just once)4) Sensors can be a little loud when backing up, but it doesn't bug me5) Today is the 1st day i tested it, and hopefully it will last for years

Installed it myself, takes about 2 hours, works good. Now I need to go to Texas and install it in my sisters car.

Look for another option
Fairly easy to install, but didn't work for more than a week. Kept giving false signals. Cleaned sensors time and time again, but eventually unhooked them, as they could not be relied upon. I wouldn't purchase again.

Custom look
I installed this set (2nd pair purchased) on my silver VW Jetta. It looks factory and works great. The buzzer was a little loud for my wife, so I muffled it by wrapping some take around it. Overall, very happy with the purchase!
