Make sure to leave bluetooth on.
I left my wallet at my daughters home: no big deal, she found it. I had spent several hours at her place, with my IPhone close by and the tracker inside the wallet. Yet, the app later gave me an incorrect location, which was about a day old. After initially giving it just two stars and calling it unreliable, I now suspect that I had switched off Bluetooth: I tested it and that, really, is all that it requires. The battery is very long lasting. It is the size of a credit card and fits even in small wallets. No GPS but overall happy with the purchase.

Found my Wallet
I bought the Innway Card tracking device back in 2020. I originally bought it because I have a habit of placing my wallet in random places when I return from an errand or from work. It performed that duty rather well. Whenever I lost my wallet in my home, I rang the card using the app on my phone and I would eventually find it. There was a function of the app that I took for granted until recently. The app can also show if the tracker is in the area. Because I was using it as a tracker to find it in my home, I took for granted that the app showed that the card was at my home address. Recently, my wallet fell out of my pants. They were a new pair of pants and the pockets are not as snug as some of my other pants. Either way, the wallet fell out and I didn't notice it until I returned home. First, I thought that I just misplaced it when I came home. I opened up the app and it showed that it was lost and the last spot it was found was my home address. However, since it was not in range of the phone, I couldn't ring the card. It was not at my home. So I called the last place I was, and they said that they did not have a wallet in their care. A few days passed, and after doing the routine of cancelling cards and such, I returned to the last place I knew I had the wallet. I was pretty sure it was in this place that I lost the wallet. I went to the front desk and asked about it and was directed to their security office. When I talked to them, I got the same response that they did not have a wallet. On a whim, I took out my phone and opened up the app, and when I did, it flashed the same message I got for the past few days, the card was last found at my home address. Then, the gps map jumped around for a bit then zoomed into the area that I was in. The message changed and gave the address of the building that I was in. It was in the area. The button for ringing the card activated and I tapped it. This was when I learned that I can use the signal bars on the app to find when I am closest to the card, obvious I know, but I took all of this for granted until this moment in time. Anyway, the app brought me back to the information desk, not the security desk. I explained to the person that I lost my wallet, and that the tracking card in the wallet activated and my phone app shows that it is in the area. In consulting another employee, they went through the drawers around the desk and we were able to find the wallet. It might not be as fancy as an 'Air Tag' or have it's range and capabilities. However, once you know what you are doing, it does a bang up job of finding your lost items.

Product is great, app is rubbish EDIT: Don't waste your money
EDIT: After trying to live with the app being horrible, the rating is now downgraded to 1 star. The app is so bad that you can only add one wifi network and one geofebce as a trusted zone (which my understanding is that it should not be alarming me if it happens to be separated from my device when within the geofence OR connected to that wifi network. Even if I only add my home as the trusted zone, it still doesn't work! If I have this thing in the outer pocket of my lunch bag, it loses sight in the following room and begins to make noise. That is super annoying because the tones you get to select are basically Nokia brick phone ringtones. Could I just get something simple to beep really loud instead of trying to make me smile with a cute ringtone? That's the other thing, it's barely audible. I understand that it's Bluetooth which is far from reliable, but then why release the product when it's literally designed to be going INSIDE layers of material? The keychains may get away with this because it's within line of sight more often. This device will lose track of itself and then kill the app so if you try and find your device you'll see that you apparently lost it 18 days ago while you were at home, while you lost the device somewhere on the way home from work and clearly had it during the workday. That's just an example, luckily I haven't completely lost this thing, but then again, I wouldn't mind losing the tracker by itself. The ironic thing is it has actually not saved one bit of ewaste because the thing sucks and I'm going to pitch it and ultimately buying a second tracker that isn't rechargeable but actually serves it's intended purpose with developers that aren't braindead. Don't waste your money with this company, the entire product line is trash as they're all using the same app filled with nonfunctioning nonsense. Suck it up and buy a tile. If we cared so much about ewaste, we wouldn't be so careless as to lose our valuables that we need to track them like cattle. If you just want to save money by recharging, then why are you buying such expensive things and not caring about where they are? In the end, Tile won, and we just can't keep track of our stuff. ಥ_ಥ ---- The card slips perfectly in the pocket behind the cards in my wallet. Once in range, I can easily hear and find the wallet. With that being said, it's Bluetooth LE of course so once within the folds of my wallet that range is cut to about 15' at most. This is plenty if it's misplaced inside a quiet home. Due to it relying on Bluetooth LE, and NOT on a 'network of other users' to find your device, it requires the app to be running in the background with Bluetooth turned on at all times. This is both a feature (not using other users as a skynet source of data) and a curse (good luck getting your specific android device to not kill the app in the background). If you manage the keep the app running, it certainly does a number on your mobile battery life. In addition, the app is not the most intuitive to use and also requires an account to use; which then begs the question of why do they not use other users to triangulate list item location? Why do they need an account login if it's only using data sourced from my device and only with local Bluetooth tracking? This is the only device tracker I've ever used so I cannot compare it to the likes of Tile brand, but it is nice to know that it has worked for me already so far when I couldn't find my wallet in my couch cushion, and that I don't need to buy a new one every year because of refusal to implement a rechargeable battery. The rechargeable feature is the number 1 reason for my purchase and while I haven't reached the point of my first recharge yet to gauge the real world duration, I would still recommend this to someone looking for a wallet tracker for a lower cost. The app needs a lot of work though to cut down on mobile battery consumption and squash some bugs but luckily it isn't an app one should ever need to be using.

Very good device and almost perfect geofencing
I own six or seven products from a major competitor (also bought from Amazon) for some years. I wanted to try this out as a backup because of some features that seemed superior for the 98 percent of the time I misplace an item in my apartment rather than outside. I keep them on my key ring, in my backpack, and even in my ukulule and guitar cases. These things are invaluable. On Prime Day, I bought a wallet tracker (about the size of a thick credit card) from two different companies, Innway and the competitor's. They are both excellent, but have different capabilities. The Innway device arrived today. Setup wasn't totally straightforward -- the manual is (of course) in microscopic print, but I am good with tech. I couldn't get the card to pair until I removed the charging device (a really weird little thing, but clever). I learned of the very cool thing that I really like about this is the geofencing capability, which is far superior to the other brand. With Tile (also bought on Amazon), I could leave my apartment and *maybe* get a notication that I left my keys or wallet home.... after 300 feet and several minutes. With the Innway, when I walked 50 feet from my bedroom to my kitchen with just my phone, the phone went nuts, dinging like crazy, and it lit up like a Christmas tree. Some might find this overly sensitive. There is no way to adjust the range. Interestingly, while both devices warn me that power-saving mode (which is normally always on) could cause problems, the Innway has so far not had a problem with it being on. Still, I like the idea that I'd not even make it to the elevator without my phone having a party in my pants. The downside of this is that the geofencing works both ways. When I left my phone in one room and walked away with my walled in my pocket, my wallet rang by the time I got to the kitchen. About the last thing I want is for a thief to grab or just find my wallet, only to have it start ringing. For that 2% of the time I lose or forget something outside: When a thief stole my wallet in May, with an ill-fitting key ring square tracker in one of the credit card slots, I was able to track the wallet down with the help of the "community" and then confront the guy, and got it back. Had the wallet started beeping, he might have just found the card and broken it or threw it away. So, an option to only make the phone ring when you're separated from it would be quite useful. When you intentionally ring the wallet from the app, the sound is not very loud. There is also no "community" for this device. So I will use the two wallet trackers from both companies in my wallet for their different usefulness. If Innway could (a) give you an option to not warn a thief that there's a tracker in the wallet until you explicity ring it, (b) make it much loud, and (c) add the "community" feature, this would be a nearly perfect product. The recharging capability makes this quite a winner.

Functional and helpful. Great battery life.
As a frequent flyer on the lost wallet path, this has been repeatedly helpful for the three months I’ve owned it. Couple of thoughts: Location: Although it doesn’t have real-time gps, it does send it’s last location connected to my phone. For me, this works because my phone is almost always with me. I can see if I left it at work, home, etc. * the notification system to let you know if you’ve walked away from it was obnoxious to me. I don’t like to carry my wallet in my pocket all the time and put it in a bag, center console, etc. This didn’t work for me. Size: I carry a small card sleeve, so this does infringe upon my limited space. I wish it were thinner. However, I’m sure if it were thinner, the battery life might suffer. Credit card size might be a wish for the future. It works though. Battery: I charged it when I got it in mid-July. From that one charge, it’s nearing mid October and the battery is around 60%. That’s nuts. In summary, for the price, this is great. The two things I would wish for would be a smoother location tracking (like find my iPhone) and a thinner size. This thing is pretty cool.

Take the gamble, it might work for you.
There are a lot of older reviews which tout the useability of this device. However, if you notice the newer reviews, the stars drop significantly. I don't think this is entirely the fault of Innway. They clearly have zero support staff, and likely a very small developer staff. Thus, the initial product worked great, but as operating systems evolved, their app must have not been able to keep pace. I say this because the app is horrendous. It reminds me of my Android 2.0 phone, clunky, slow, and unresponsive (Android is now on OS version 11). The app installed just fine on my device, and the setup was a breeze. It asked me to enable all the permissions on my phone, which included camera, location, storage, ringer and flashlight permissions) The app identified and connected to the Innway Card without incident. However, even upon the first use/test, things didn't seem to work quite right. Despite having a full connection to the card (the app has a signal meter that indicates the signal strength with the card), none of the commands worked. The button to find the card (something like "locate my device") would not work. I pressed it again and again, but no response. I tried the GPS locator button, and the app could not locate the card. I thought that maybe it was because the GPS locator only tells you the last time it disconnected from your phone, so I figured I had to leave my card home and walk around the neighborhood to lose connection. Before I went on my walk, i enabled the 'notify when disconnected' option which is supposed to be a "hey, you forgot to bring your wallet with you" reminder when you break the connection between your phone and the card. With my wallet on the kitchen counter, and my phone and card showing a strong connection with each other, I went outside for a walk. I went outside and didn't hear anything. Down the driveway, still nothing. 3 houses down, I started to get a bit suspicious. I took out my phone and opened the app. The app said that the Innway Card was not connected, and it also did not know where in the world my card was (i.e., no GPS coordinates). This was upsetting. I continued on with my .75 mile loop until I got home. I checked the phone at random times during the walk, and nothing about the app ever updated, still no connection and no GPS coordinates. When I entered my home, I opened the Innway app and noticed that the phone and card had a strong connection again. So I concluded the phone and the card's bluetooth features clearly work with each other. So i pressed the "ring my innway" button, and nothing happened. I went to my wallet and removed the card. With my phone about 3 feet away from the card, sitting on the table unobstructed by anything, I pressed the button again. Still nothing. Intrigued, I picked up the card an noticed a button on it. A little research revealed that this button sends a signal to ring my phone (in case you have your wallet, but can't find your phone). So I pressed it, and noting happened. After pressing again and again, the third time was a charm and my phone started ringing/flashing. Now that I know there is a connection and that the app is responsive to commands, i went back to my phone to try again to "find my wallet". I pressed the button on the app; nothing. I pressed again and again, still nothing. I started just pressing like a madman, and after about six more taps on the screen, my card started ringing. In summary, this was my experience everytime I tried to test out the card, over a period of a week. It was just not reliable in case I actually lost the card: if I truly did lose it (like in a parking lot or something), the GPS would not tell me; nor would my phone warn me that it disconnected from the card. At best, I could sometimes get my wallet to ring about 10% of the time. That is not, in my opinion, a successful test. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, so i contacted Innway by Facebook Messenger and by e-mail, as instructed by their help page. They never contacted me back. The only response i ever received was an auto-reply that said something to the effect of "we are a small startup and might take a little while to get back to you, please bear with us". I ordered this thing on 24 Aug, and it's now 15 Sep. I'm done waiting, and I'm returning it. If you want to give it a try, I wouldn't blame you. It has all the features you would want (in theory), and it might work for your particular phone/OS. Other products have similar reviews. I'm going to try the Orbit, and then finally the Tile. Based on my experience with a lackluster app, I suspect the Orbit will have similar issues. Tile is another option, which I will try last. It is a reputable company, and will probably eventually win my business. The downside is that their product is not rechargeable. In an age where reduce/reuse/recycle is all the rage, I'm surprised that what will likely be the company with the best product, but designs it as a disposable device. I would prefer a rechargeable option, however, I am desperately in need of something that is reliable. I lose my wallet about once every other month, and it is a tiring exercise to search and find it in random places after hours of searching (so far this year, i've found it in my refrigerator, the pantry, the couch, under my car's seat, in my bathrobe pocket, and in the laundry hamper).

The app is ACTUALLY free
I was kind of skeptical when I bought this because I had never heard of Innway. But I figured for the price, it’s cheaper than Tile or AirTags, let’s give it a shot. Set up took about 30 seconds and that’s only because I didn’t hold the button long enough at first. The charger is easy to use and the app was simple. You create an account verify then it’s literally the push of a button. THE APP IS ACTUALLY FREE! This card boasts a “loud sound” so you can find it. I wouldn’t call it loud per se, but if you’re in the same room you should be able to hear it. When you use the card to ring your phone, it does still ring even when your phone is on silent, dnd, or even using the side switch on apple phones. It still rings so you can find your phone. The charger is simple to use. You need a usb cube or other usb plug to charge it and it clamps on like a little alligator. There is an easily visible red light that flashes when charging and stays on when it’s done. My card came fully charged which was a nice change. You can check the battery left on your card from the app. Overall I’m very happy with card tracker.

This Wallet Card
The wallet card is thin and it's rechargeable. Those are the pros. The Cons: I purchased two cards serially, and returned both. I sought to use the card as a "Left Behind" as I'm wont to leave my wallet behind. The card works great when I'm out of bluetooth range. My phone screams at me. I'm unable to select the length of time or volume to allow its screaming. I have to take out my phone and shut it up. The card has a "safe zone" where it recognized your WiFi where it disables the left behind function. The problem is that both cards were defective in that I was able to name the WiFi, save the name, but the WiFi would not be recognized. The Left Behind function was not working. I tried contacting Customer Support, but no answer for even one week. I gave up and returned the card. Also, the app is difficult to navigate and is very user unfriendly.
