blurry video, but works.
This pretty much does what you would expect. The output video is a bit blurry, I have been tinkering with the refresh rates on the monitor and it doesn't seem to make much difference. I've tried different monitors, same results across all of the inputs. Also, tried to use a wireless keyboard and mouse with a single usb connector to the device and it only works for the keyboard, not the mouse. Had to use a separate wireless mouse with a separate usb connection. It does work though, so for the price, don't expect perfection. I have it in the server room and don't use it very often so I can live with it but I couldn't stand the blurry if it was my main machine.

Does that job and works well
I like it. My only complaint stems from the fact that the majority of cables are only 6 feet instead of 10 feet. It only includes 2 10 foot cables! Anyone who is cabling a rack with one of these will have a hard time doing it with only 6 foot cables! I was only able to use one of those, and I ended up having to order additional 10 foot cables. This was very annoying. The KVM should come with 10 foot cables!! This is the only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars.

Intermittent instable video
Description says "All-time full DDC/EDID emulation for video compatibility and stability" but video has not been stable. The unit came with a printed instruction sheet specifying you have to switch to a computer before booting it up. All-time full DDC/EDID emulation should provide an emulation of the connected monitor's signal to the computer even if you have not switched to it before booting.I have also had inconsistent video behavior even when selecting the computer before booting. Intermittently I have had both incorrect resolution and complete loss of video (which is correctable by disconnecting the video cable and reconnecting it). This is NOT the promised video stability I was expecting based on the item description!

Terrrible, Terrible, Terrible! Beware if you plan to use this day-in and day out.
I had to go through 3 different units being shipped back and forth before I got one that approximately worked. It will flat out not work with a wireless mouse/keyboard. Moreover, IT DROPS KEYSTROKES. I type very rapidly, and it's as if someone has injected some delay into the system and - every now and then - keystrokes I type don't even make it to computer.Multiple calls to the vendor some time ago (over a year) got no real results other than "This is a firmware limitation and the firmware cannot be upgraded."I pretty much hate this thing and wish I'd never bought it.

For the price ... great!
Computer Consultant. This is what I use on my test bench to run 8 PCs at a time. And yes, I have a zillion wires on my test bench ... but only ONE keyboard and mouse. Some BIOS programs don't want to acknowledge keyboard or mouse ... but not many. For that I sometimes need to plug a keyboard/mouse directly into the PC/Server. But not often.

Does the job if you're a techie
doesn't want to cooperate with all mice or keyboards you might like to use. Give it a shot if you're willing to try alternate devices to make it cooperate.

Great Switch
This switch installed in just a few minutes. Worked great following the instruction sheet that was very easy to follow. Included cables were of good quality and just the right size for us. This switch replaced an old KVM switch that never worked right from the start and finally quit. We have had the switch installed and it has worked great now for over a month. Great produce and price. Would recommend this switch.

Outstanding package!
This is a great package for its price. It includes the rack ears, as well as all the cables you need to start off. I myself didn't realize that 2 of the 8 cables were 10', so it was a pleasant surprise.
