I have a newer Nintendo Switch with the bigger battery, but I often keep it on my desk and needed a stand that would keep my console charged for extended play sessions. I had been using a power wire and holding up my Switch up with a makeshift stand.I purchased this in the hopes of finding a compact stand that would allow me to charge my Switch. The menu does show that it is charging, but it does not actually charge the Switch while in use; rather, it just seems to slow the discharge.If you want to buy a charging stand that will keep your Switch at 100% all day, this isn't it. I'm returning this product as it's not fit for purpose.

One of the kids always needs to charge while we play. It’s nice to have a stand that charges. It’s completely unnecessary but my hands will change after awhile so this is great. But I wish I would’ve bought one that is also a dock so it connects to the tv too. This is a very portable product and does the job.

It's a good product for a good price. I mostly use my switch in table top mode and the built in stand is flimsy at best and prevents you from charging your switch. This stand fixes that by simply moving the port to the side. It's a bit sturdier than the built in stand and is also adjustable. I've used it for ~50 hours now and have had no issues. Delivery was fast.

This is a very bad product. Amazon shouldn't sell this. Does not charge with enough power while using the Switch. Does not work at all with the protective cover on the Switch.

Great for Charging while playing or watching videos at my desk at work. Only thing you might need extra is a separate Nintendo licensed charger to ensure proper charging voltages and speeds.

I love how portable it is, I can throw it in any size backpack/bag and keep on going through my day. The adjustability of the stand is great for sitting at different heights as well! If for some reason I break it, I’ll definitely get one again.

Offers great balance compared to the original stand but the charge is lacking

This feels like a nice adjustable kick stand which allows for gameplay while on the go.
