UPDATED REVIEW- I have now purchased 9 of these solar lanterns!! I have hung these around my deck and I love them! They turn off when it is day time and automatically come back on when it starts getting dark. I love the lace pattern that they display on the deck. I added a picture of my dog by one of the lanterns to give you a perspective of the size. I have received so many compliments on these. The light they give off is a cool white instead of a warm white. They have withstood many of rainstorms and high winds and still look great!2 cons- they do tend to get a little rust on them. That is ok with me because I like the rustic look. Also, this company does not have replacement lights when these go out. However, they can be purchased separately from a different vendor. (Removed a star for this reason)

VERY PRETTY!! I found this lantern as a replacement for my broken solar light. I must say that It totally meets my expectation, well done!The lanten's size is big enough, the light is very bright and the pattern of light is beautiful. Especially, the tranditional style of this lantern is very suitable with my life style.Do you think it should be a part of my bookshelf too? Lol

Even though I live in apartment, hanging the lantern on the windows just increases my little corner's aesthetics especially at night. One special thing, it can automatically turn off when room light is on and vice versa. Totally satisfied with the lantern.

So, I've been looking for awhile for a solar lamp. All the ones before were glass and with a child that was a no go. I came across this and thought why not. I'm so glad I did, I love it! It comes with 2, not 1, but 2 solar panels. So if one breaks, I've got a spare. Its massive and throws quite a bit of light. I love the pattern the light creates. I was expecting it to be a warm light, but it's more of the blue white light. I thinks it's even prettier. I keep it on my table and have the option to hang it. It is light weight so put it away during storms or heavy winds. I didn't and it flew off the table. Still works! I'm getting them for each of my family members when they come back in stock

When looking for solar lights I found this listing. It states everything in plural, lanterns, lights, etc. so I expected it to be a set of 2. I would never pay this price for just one lantern. I did not see anywhere that said it was only one. Very disappointed because I can't return it as it was a gift that was sent to my sister. MAKE SURE YOU FIND OUT IF IT IS ONLY ONE LANTERN OR A SET WHEN BUYING THEM

This was a lovely lantern. It only came with the cool color lid. Large size, bright with a cool pattern of light. However, it stayed outside all summer and fall. When I brought it back out this summer, it refused to turn on. I even changed the battery but the real issue was that the leads rusted and disconnected including at the led. I would have to do soldering to fix this. The weather proofing is insufficient and there's no way to purchase a replacement top at a reasonable cost. Too expensive for a one season model.

I purchased this for my mom’s garden for Mother’s Day and she loved it! It’s so beautiful! It looks beautiful as it is in the day with the intricate pattern and rustic look, and at night, the glow is even more gorgeous. The pattern reflecting from the lantern shows up best if it’s near the ground or on a table. You can even bring it inside to cast shadows for a candlelight dinner or intimate gathering.

I didn't find these lights any brighter than the ones with less lumens and hanging upwards of four feet there is no design or light display as pictured. I spray painted the metal when I got them with clear rust resistant paint due to other customer's reviews of rust. Just hung them up so don't know longevity. Somewhat disappointed with this purchase.
