I have been suffering from blepharitis for many years. It is one of the Masks ( Moist Heat Eye Compress) that helped soothing my eyes. Its band is adjustable. Heat it 25-30 seconds max not more – Stays warm for a good 10 minutes. It worth every penny despite the fact that is Only valid for 3 months. I don’t think that washing it by cold water & hand would get rid of dirt or kill any harmful germs/Bacteria – Better keep it safe & clean.

My ophthalmologist recommended this product for my dry eyes. Per his instructions, I use it 10 minutes a day. It is easy to use (microwave and apply) and provides comfort for my dry eyes.

As a person who has suffered from insomnia for a long time, I decided to try the moist heat eye compress by Wilsonwares as a sleep mask.  Although I tend to be extremely skeptical of “fads” that have been recommended to me over the years by well-meaning friends, I occasionally get to the point where I’m so exhausted that I succumb to the pressure and try a new product that I am assured will have me “sleeping like a baby in no time.”  The result has always been the same…utter disappointment.  This product was different!  The first time I used it, I heated it in the microwave for 20 seconds as recommended, and used the velcro straps to secure it over my closed eyelids for 10 minutes.  It didn’t put me to sleep, but it did relax me.  Since I got what I felt was a modicum of tension relief from that initial 10-minute use, which was actually atypical of the fads I had previously tried, I decided to try it again the following night.  I did not want to deal with having to time my usage (sensing that may have been what kept me from falling asleep the first time), so my second use was without preheating it in the microwave.  I closed my eyes, secured the mask over my closed eyelids, and the rest is history.  I don’t know what it is that made this mask different from the other things I’ve tried, and I don’t really care.  The Wilsonwares Eye Compress works for me, and it has become my “sleep genie.”  I now use it every night.

I have blepharitis and this has been so soothing for me! It is too hot for me if I do the full 30 seconds so I generally do 20. Band is adjustable and velcro so fits any adult sz head. Well made and comfortable!!

I had to order this item per request of my doctor. It works well and it so comfortable that I almost fell asleep with it on.
