have purchased for seniors at assistive living and of the different watches I have tired over the last 11 years, this one is the easiest for those with visual problems. may of the "older" the days turn into just "days". but with the talking watch, days are put into perspective. the chain is heavy and the only problems I have with the several I have purchased are...battery replacement and one the hanging clip came loose, but was easily reattached with a pair of needle nose pliers.up date 11-19-2019 had a problem with one of the watches. not a problem with having it repaired by Gotham Watch. Thanks much Dave!!

I bought this for my mother who has limited vision. It's very nice in many ways but over-priced in my opinion and could stand a bit of improvement (hence the deduction of 2 stars).Like:* Nice long chain Mom can put over her head without problems. The chain appears to be sturdy, and subjectively, I think it is attractive.* Comes in the choice of silver or gold tone. Mom hates gold tone.* Voice is clear and easy to understand without being shockingly loud* Watch face is clearly marked with good contrast.Could be better:* Price. Oy.* A bit weighty.* A little thick.* Unclear directions.

IT'S CLASSY LOOKING
THIS WAS A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR MY 98 YEAR OLD MOTHER WHO ALWAYS ASKED WHAT TIME IT WAS AND WANTED A WRIST WATCH WITH AND EXPANSION BAND LIKE THE OLD TIMEX WATCHES. THOSE TYPE OF WATCHES/WATCHBANDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE.I SAW THIS PENDENT WATCH AND THOUGHT IT WOULD BE THE ANSWER. SHE LOVES IT AND EXPECIALLY THE TALKING TO TELL THE TIME AND DATE.

I will be returning this watch. Iti is a struggle to set the time. The date is off. It is more work than it is worth.

Impressed my husband
My husband has purchased many watches, so to impress him with a watch I purchased IS a big deal. The ONLY reason I did not give the watch 5 stars is its weight, which will mean I wear it less hours - not a big problem. The chain is the perfect length, the clock face very easy to read, and the talker (chose male voice since female voices difficult for me to hear) not too loud, not too soft speaking either. The "button" to push for the voice is easy to operate and to differentiate, as it's the only button on the watch other than the winder (see photo). The warranty on the watch is very reasonable as respects its terms. This will be the 3rd pendant watch I've owned; I don't wear wristwatches, and I'm kind of excited that it will be there when I'm out and about, especially in bright light where seeing the time on my cell phone is difficult, or when it's dark and a talking watch will be just the ticket! This is the only pendant watch of good quality I could locate when shopping on Amazon, and its weight makes sense due to the talking feature. It even has an alarm option of which I was unaware when purchasing. Nice watch!
