I’ve had a weighted blanket before and it was small and light and lasted less than a month before all of the weight was at the edges and it was useless.THIS blanket is fantastic. I’ve intentionally “waited” todo this review to make sure that the blanket lasted before I gave a glowing review. And indeed this review is glowing. The ONLY negative (and it’s really not even on the scale) is that the color said red but this blanket is more a maroon or burgundy. Truthfully, I’m my case I had ordered some “eggplant” bamboo sheets which arrived and were burgundy or maroon as well so the blanket is an absolute, perfect match. Now to the blanket itself. It’s soft! Really. It’s almost like satin material. It’s still going strong with the weight still evenly distributed after two month is use.And now to address something that I read about in reviews that I read when I bought this blanket. Is it warm? Am I hot? Is it cool? This was really confusing to me because the fact is what’s warm for me may be cool to someone else and Vice verse. BUT, I think I’ve found a way to describe this. I run my thermostat at 74 degrees during waking hours and at bedtime it drops to 71 degrees automatically. (Caveman style right?) so one would think this would be cool. But under this blanket, I’m comfortable. I breathe cool, refreshing air which helps me sleep while my body is VERY comfortable under this amazing blanket - neither warm nor cool but COMFORTABLE and ready for sleep. The weight is PERFECT for a king-size bed - I got the 40-lb one. It relieves any anxiety and keeps me relaxed until I’m asleep. And that covers all the reasons why I bought this blanket. If you have others, you’re on your own. But if these cover your reasons, you won’t find a better blanket. Get this blanket and enjoy it. It’s that simple.

My husband is always cold due to an illness. This weight of this blanket wraps around him and keeps him comfortable all night long. I have also found the weight to be perfect - calms me and makes me feel safe.

I sleep so much more comfy now. The weight gets distributed evenly through the blanket and makes the bed look super nice after its made because the weight keeps it all nice and flat. The only complaint I have is it's not easy to lug upstairs to wash it but hey, what can you do?

It’s really work to calm you down

I felt like I was being smothered at first and hated it. But I was either gonna be cold or get over it so after a few weeks I cant see not having one. I'd think for a novice get one that's lower weight and see what ypu like. but for someone in my sitaution that has a weighted blanket connoisseur sleeping next to them just give it some time you'll be hooked too.

This blanket is perfect! I love the weight of blankets, but don’t like to be too hot. This allows for me to have the experience of the weight without the bulk that creates too much heat while I’m sleeping.

The media could not be loaded.  I was given this blanket as a gift from a friend and I cannot stress enough how thankful I am to have one! I've been wanting one for few years now because I have very bad anxiety when it comes to finally hitting the sack, but now with the blanket going to sleep has been surprisingly easy!As of writing this review, I've had the blanket for a little over two weeks now and I can easily say that it's improved my sleeping when compared to my old sleeping schedule. It's my first time ever owning a weighted blanket, so I'm not too sure how to judge it, but the weight of the blanket overall is personally really nice. It's not too heavy where it feels like your suffocating, but not too light where it feels like it's barely there. It's just right! The only thing I do have to say that slightly bothered me was the fact there was no weight on the corners and sides of the blanket. So sometimes when I moved around the edge and outside of the blanket felt sometimes light and it didn't feel like there was any sort of weight there, but since I don't really know what weighted blankets are normally like, I can't say that my tiny little pet peeve is too big or too small of an issue. Besides from that, I really adore this blanket and I can't find a place to complain about it!Now my actual personal experience with it; I have very bad anxiety when I finally hit my head on the pillow. I have a MAJOR fear over the dark and it's a main reason why I can't sleep at night. I tried noise machines, listening to music, night lights, and even burning oils to help me calm me down but it never works! I can't count all the nights how many times I laid in bed tossing and turning because of my anxiety keeping me up. When I got the blanket, I was a tad skeptical that it would help me with my fear of the dark, but as soon as I got under the blanket and hit my head on the pillow I fell RIGHT to sleep with no issue at all. I thought I was losing my mind when I woke up from an actual good night's sleep the next morning. After a week I even went back to my old blanket and I noticed such a HUGE difference when I did. If I can even notice the difference one night of not using it, I'm positive that it has helped me immensely the past two weeks of owning it!Overall, I think it's an amazing blanket despite my little complaint. It works just as it intended to be and it has helped a lot with my sleep schedule by a landslide! I highly recommend it to those who are wanting to try out a weighted blanket for their first time and/or needing it to improve their attempts at sleeping like myself! The shipping was fast and no hassle at all. Just be ready to carry in a heavy box when it arrives at your home! It was.... a fun time for my family to see me haggle in this very heavy box for twenty minutes just for them to find out it was my blanket haha!

I have ordered both the king and queen sizes. The blanket is great quality. The fabric is heavy and stitching is even. The weight is evenly distributed. I ordered these as a compromise between my husband, who likes his blankets to have weight, and myself, who can’t stand to sleep hot. We’re both very happy and have been sleeping great since I put it on the bed. I love that it breathes and doesn’t make you sweaty. It’s a fantastic price point for blankets of this size and quality.The absolute best part of this purchase is the customer service I’ve received from the seller. My initial blanket was mislabeled and arrived in the wrong size. The company went above and beyond to get a new blanket out to me and when there was a delay in shipping they also refunded my money. They really provided exceptional customer service and turned what could have been a negative experience into a positive one. I walked away from the transaction feeling like they really cared about my experience with their company.Highly recommend both the product and the seller.

I spent quite sometime researching before making the leap and ordering this blanket, the reviews definitely helped with making the decision, I can promise you they are not paid for reviews. My experience is right on par with most that have taken the time to do so.First off one of the best parts is that it fit exactly into our old duvet cover and matched up to the corner ties which was a huge aspect for me. It fits perfectly for a large king size bed with great coverage draping over the mattress with my wife and I under it.We chose the 30lb option a higher percentage than suggested for our body weight, am I ever glad we did.This blanket naturally swatled our bodies for one of the best sleeps I have ever had, did not wake once through out the night until my alarm went off for work in the morning. I usually wake and stir 5-6 times through out the night and often find I am awake about 20 mins each time before I can settle back to sleep only to wake again an hour or so later.For those that are concerned at excessive heat trapped from these blankets, as I was going into the purchase.... if you have a ceiling fan above your bed, put it to medium settings and the flow of air seems enough to keep the blanket cool almost as transference of surface temperature. I sleep quite hot and this actually kept me cooler than our previous Duvets in the past.So if you are debating on getting one of these or another product. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO BUY THIS ONE!!! You will not be disappointed at all!!

This is a great blanket. I would buy it again. It swaddles you and is incredibly comfy. I bought the 25lb King-sized shipped for 200 CAD. I wouldn't go heavier or lighter and I probably would not pay more than this ad I see these listed for 300ish. I don't buy into a lot of the aggressive weighted blanket marketing - there's a lot of options these days and this is definitely a last pick - made in China - one reservation I had as I avoid cheap stuff like the plague. However at the end of the day it's one thing - a blanket with weight. Most blankets arguably are made in China. So is this the perfect one for you? If you love breathable cotton sheets (like myself) then you will love this blanket. If you like fleece or high thread count "slippery" feeling sheets - don't buy this. It is very very comfy.So far I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. One thing - this blanket is marketed as "hanging off the bed" - the king sized DOES NOT hang off the side of my regular king bed, which is a good thing because A PROPERLY FITTED WEIGHTED BLANKET DOESN'T HANG OFF THE EDGES. Trust me on this - bigger is not better. You don't want it hanging off your bed, but fitted to the sleeping area.Contrary to some reviews, the blanket IS well-made and the beads DO NOT shift. If you're complaining about beads shifting in this blanket then you're definitely a Karen and I pity you.This is also not magic sleep quality panacea. It is just a blanket, though I will attest being swaddled by this badboy is heavenly.

I suffer from anxiety and was told that a weighted blanket would help me sleep. I still believe that one will, just not this one.I bought the king size 15 lb blanket because it is 10% of my body weight. When the blanket is folded it is 15 pounds, but when it’s spread across a king sized bed, it feels just as heavy as a regular blanket. In fact, the duvet that I was using before was heavier! To return the blanket it would cost me money, and I couldn’t really afford the blanket to begin with. I’m so disappointed. I folded the blanket in half which certainly made it heavier, but I was scorching hot and sweaty.

I’m very pleased with this blanket. I’ve only slept under it for a few nights so I have no idea how it will stand up to washing etc.The beads inside are extremely tiny and they’re cushioned between some sort of soft fabric. You can’t even feel the beads unless you press firmly between your fingers.The fabric is soft and is securely sewn. There is no shifting of the beads at all.I bought the 20 lb blanket and when it arrived I thought “no way, it’s way too heavy. When the blanket is on the bed the weight is distributed all over the bed so it feels really nice and cozy.I sleep with my 10 lb dog and at first I was concerned that the weight would be too heavy for her but it doesn’t appear to be a problem.The fit is exactly like the picture shows. Mine is queen size and there’s a bit of overhang over the edges, unlike many other weighted blankets.I plan on buying a duvet cover for it to keep it clean longer.This is well worth the price and I would recommend it highly. My sleep quality is much better.This blanket is definitely warm. I live in Canada so it is much appreciated.
