Set of 6 Unique Locks, Including Pin Tumbler, Disc Detainer, Dimple and Tubular

This is one of the nicest packaged products I've ever purchased, the guide book is quite interesting as well. The locks appear to be high quality acrylic and brass, and there is a nice variety included. In my set, the tubular lock is incredibly tight... Using the key to turn it takes a large amount of force which I feel will break or at least quickly wear down the lock. The driver springs may be a bit too strong.The dimple key set is nice, however it only opens with one of the two provided keys... Not sure what the other one is for.A nice feature on the Euro profile locks would be an indication of the functional side, but that would just be a nice add.The black sleeves are great since they allow variable in difficulty for picking.What's included: - Box with nice foam insert to retain the locks - Booklet talking about picking and lock inside - Two padlocks, one disc detainer and one pin tumbler - Two euro locks, one dimple and one pin tumbler - One Tubular lock - One half-cylinder pin tumblerAll of the locks come with two keys, except the pin tumbler -- and it should be noted the disc detainer (in my set) only had one functional key.I would argue only one key per lock is needed, as the redundancy is unnecessary since you intend on picking the locks and not using them for multiple person access, or requiring them if you lose one -- but a nice inclusion nonetheless.A typical pick set should get you through half of the locks, with the tubular, dimple and disc locks being the outliers.I'd recommend this set.

I really felt the book of information on the locks was great. I am a beginner so it was very informative. I wish it would have came with picks. Other than no picks this was a great buy! Thanks

I just received the set of locks this morning. The picture in the item description is VERY misleading. My locks were not packaged in a single box as depicted, each lock was in an envelope and all 6 envelopes were packed in a Ziploc bag. Also, and far more importantly, the informational book depicted that previous reviewers were very impressed with was absent. I now have a set of training locks and no information about how to use them.

A useful guide for beginner Smith's or curious nephews/neices. Great as a gift, cheap and practical. Comes with a poignant and easy to read guide, but lockpicking is alot harder than what words can tell you. Practice and eventually you will click open all 6 locks with ease

The main reasons I got this was for the guide book and the blackout covers. The locks came with neither.
