My granddaughter who is in third grade and loves dance classes clutched this book to her chest and squealed when she opened it. I think that meant she loved it. LOL

Any young girl in Ballet would love reading this book.

This was the worst written kids chapter book I’ve ever read with my daughter. She liked the plot but my god the writing was so terrible i don’t understand how this got published?? I had to reword almost every sentence just to make it more palatable. Would never read another book by this writer again. As someone else mentioned this has a lot of British sayings but that wasn’t the problem. Just poor writing.

The Secret of the Ballet Book is a beautifully written story book about a young girl Sierra, following aspirations to become a ballerina against the expectations of her parents.The story includes interactions with various characters who helps her on her way to fulfilling her potential and achieving her dream and change her parents wishes.There are many twists and turns and magic to keep the readers interested.Navita Dello's style of writing is easy to follow and a perfect read, for the younger reader.I have read the book with my daughter who enjoyed following the exciting experiences of the ballerina. The book would make a great read to any collection.It is a great book with a positive message; to follow ones dreams.
