It shut off while I was using it and won't turn back on.*** I reached out and the company sent me a new one that is working beautifully. There must have been some sort of short in the one I had, but this one seems just fine and I really do love using it and would recommend if you are looking for something like this. This light really shocked me. I wish I had it years ago, the quality of my YouTube channel would have gotten so much better so much sooner. This is a wonderful price for a nice piece.Pros:- It is super easy to assemble and function.- It is very slim and easy to store in the original box.- It is great as a tabletop light for makeup application or selfies, but I also love that I can set it up on top of my DSLR camera too. It is lightweight but sturdy.- I love that you can go from warm to cool and do not need to be on one side of the spectrum but can find the perfect balance.- The tilting neck is a great bonus and the attachments are nice and good quality although I do wish they were white as well, it would be more aesthetically pleasing.Cons:- As much as I like that I don't have to charge it, the power cord is quite short. You need to provide your own outlet box too. I think I would need to get a micro USB wire that is longer or an extension cord in order to be able to be more than 2-3 feet from an outlet. That is really the only downside to me.I would highly recommend this to anyone on a budget looking for a decent light for filming or photography. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome product. *by S***X on Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2019* This product is perfect! I’ve been looking at getting a ring light for indoor photos because natural lighting would be best but not all the time we have that. This light was the best solution. It has a phone holder to hold the phone or camera you are using. The assembly was too easy and the whole product is sturdy. Brightness can be adjusted to preference and can also switch from white to a rosier tint. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Light, Bad Cord *by M***T on Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2019* The light itself is great- its sturdy enough and has great control settings for brightness and warmth I have terrible light in my apartment so it really helps me doing my makeup while I'm getting ready in the morning. The being said, the lamp basically barely stays connected to the power source. The plug that you insert into the ring light itself is EXTREMELY sensitive and feels like it's never fully in right. Any kind of movement or shift will cause the light to lose power even though it's still plugged in. It's frustrating to feel like I can't even move it closer to me without knowing I'm going to have to spend ten minutes figuring out how to keep it on after that. I haven't used the selfie attachment yet but overall I feel frustrated. It's a good product with poor functionality.UPDATE: Editing my review to add that the seller offered a replacement and compensation as there was an issue with the cord. I received my new one and it works perfectly! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/102950794-zomei-10-5-tabletop-makeup-ring-light-for-youtube-video](https://www.desertcart.be/products/102950794-zomei-10-5-tabletop-makeup-ring-light-for-youtube-video) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
