I have a GP Pinpointer that I have been using and wanted to try this unit out to see if there was an improvement over the mentioned unit. I will say that this Tryfun pinpointer is more sensitive to metal, and I do like the blinking LED's that increase when you are closing in on your target.The one thing I was having difficulties with was that this pinpointer seems to pick up false signals the deeper you do into the ground. This may be due to the rich soil that I have been digging in at my property though. I'm pretty sure that the soil I'm digging in is rich in minerals that is producing the false signals, so I plan to use it more when I hunt on other properties.That being said, I do believe that this unit is a little more sensitive to the GP models. I plan to update this review with some pictures from the field and working with different soil. In all, a few solid unit with decent features and sensitivity. More to come!::UPDATE:: 5/10/18This pinpointer is pretty dependent on good batteries. The newer the battery, the stronger the signal. I also think there may be a very small constant battery drain while the unit is turned off (happens to a lot of things that use batteries and people don't realize) I get about three or so hours on a quality 9v battery when detecting (total on time) before the little LED starts to blink indicating the battery is getting low. Once that starts to happen, the pinpointers performance is literally cut in half. SO, keep a few space quality 9v batteries on hand and you will be in good shape. Also, when not in use, take the battery out for storage, it will help out on the life of the 9v.All that being said, with a fresh battery, this pinpointer works very well. It still crushes it's cheaper cousin, the GP Pointer in every way. Worth the price tag if you are looking for something good and not wanting to fork out over $100 or something else.

This is the gift to my wife, she like it very much, after receiving the day began to work in my backyard, Before she rarely tidy up our garden. I hope she will change with her favorite gloves. She already has Experience the fun of organizing the garden, especially with the kids.After putting on this glove, you can insert it directly into the soil, Snug fit, very dextrous, feel very protected from wet soil. without the need for extra toolsI will buy another pair, I like to see our family together to arrange the garden happy scene.

This detector has a good appearance and great sensitivity. This is a light only (no sound) detector so there is a green light that turns red once metal is detected and it vibrates. There is another button that turns on a light for use in dark areas or for people who use them at night. Make sure not to submerge under water be cause this is water resistant not waterproof so it waterproof to the light not the entire unit. You can get around 2-3" detection on a coin with this unit.

What a great tool. Detects all types of metal from several inches away. Beeps get faster and more lights flash as the tip gets closer to metal. Looks very solid and well made. Seems to be pretty weatherproof. Great with a rechargeable lithium 9V battery. A quick press turns it on. Depress the on/off button a little longer to turn it off. Also included is a nice holster and impressively decent instructions. Two thumbs up.

It causes interference with my detector. it is not because it is close to the head it is because it operates on the same frequency . The black holder is not very secure to my belt and the snap has come loose a number of times already and will one day cause my to lose the pin pointer . in fact the snap is on the top of the strap when the open end of the holder is up It should be at the bottom. like better pin pointers design their holders. I have to put the detector far away when turning on the pin pointer of turn off my detector. it sets it off when the pin pointer is turned on otherwise.

Great product for the money, comparable to the Garrett pro pointer as far as sensitivity goes,picks up great! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it gets erratic sometimes (often) and you have to shut it off and turn it back on,which isn't a big deal since it cost $90 less then the Garrett. Recommend it and would buy again.

This pinpointer worked pretty good, not great had to turn it on and off several times to "reset" it. When it starts to beep it doesnt want to stop. This only happened a few times. I got it wet and POW! Never worked again. It was worth the price for what it did. I also have the Whites TRX. I loved having this one as a back up or a loaner.
