This book is exactly what it states it is. A buyers guide to the timeless classic Tamburini designed desmoquattro. Filled excellent photography and model facts it's worth it to have around if just for reference. As for usefulness as a buyers guide, it is with regard to model identification and what features should be present. That stated, the rest is basic mechanicals one would, or should be checking anyway when buying a used motorcycle. Also, there are maintenance records to consider that the book goes over. This shouldn't be your only guide to buying a previously owned Ducati, but is definitely worth a consult before hand. I got just as a useful reference to go along with some others as "coffee table" books.

Excellent book on the post bevel early Ducati four valve twins. Gives information about the strengths and weaknesses of the different models as well as some racing history and information. Good reference book or again just for plain ole enjoyment reading. Actually this is the second one I bought, the first being lost in a fire.

Good read with valuable information. Not sure I understand their '%' ratings of the motorcycles though.

Found it to be very informative, easy to read and to the point. Would recommend it to anyone starting out.

Great pocket reference guide. Read it. Take it along when you are considering a used Ducati. It is worth every penny.

High level info but leaves you dissapointed would have expected more for the price as the author seems to have such a reputation with these publications.

A little expensive for a 6x8" book. Contains lots of general information that can be applied to any make of motorcycle as well..10x more info could easily be found on the Ducati forms with a few simple key strokes. Who puts these books together for this guy?It gets 3 stars only because of the shiny Ducati pictures inside.

Petit fascicule dans la langue de Mike Hailwood mais très complet. A traduire !Trop fort ce Ian Falloon. Dommage que l'on ait pas un auteur de cette qualité en France

Utile manualetto in inglese
Questo è un manuale semplice e completo che tutti i possessori di un desmo 4 dovrebbero avere.In questo testo vengono presentate tutta una serie di cose che occorre controllare in un "pompone" Ducati.Secondo me tutto ciò che è consigliato per un desmo 4 è valido anche per un desmo 2 e in parte anche per i motori più nuovi; in sintesi è un libro che tutti i possessori di una Ducati dovrebbero avere.Non è in italiano ma il testo è di semplice traduzione ed è un buon esercizio per tenersi allenati con l'inglese.

Una sorta di Vademecum per i neofiti ma anche per i più esperti che desiderano approfondire pregi e difetti della Tamburini.Spedizione impeccabile.
