The boards are great although haven't painted on them yet. I've a strong dislike for the pink knot/tassels and cannot use these. I know the colors are random but......I'll try to exchange them or if not, dye them.

This shikishi board is just delightful. Very beautiful and well made and packaged for protection in a plastic sleeve. It has a fan shape as your painting area made of xuan paper. So fun! And, the board comes with a tassel and matching hanging cord to hang it on the wall from the corners. The board has a ready-made hole in the upper left corner and another in the lower right corner to attach the cord and tassel. Very simply done and would make an unusual gift for someone or to keep for yourself. I am very pleased with my purchase.
