I'm a lefty that has struggled to find a notebook that is comfortable to write in. This is the most convenient I've found! The rings are small enough that they do not get in the way as much as standard wire spirals and, even if they do bother you, you can just remove a piece of paper, write on it, and out it right back!This brings me to the actual process of taking out the paper. The ring mechanism works fine. It is a little clunky and sometimes you have to mess with it for it to close again. Smaller than USA notebook but OMG best notebook invention ever. It’s lightweight, great for minimizing if that’s a goal for you. Sturdy tough outer edges, nicest colors. I absolutely love them and would recommend them for college students and working professionals adults.

I typically use A4 notebooks, binders and folders for college just for the bigger size and better compatibility with letter-size printouts. With the COVID pandemic making my whole semester online, I opted with getting the smaller B5 size. The durability is fantastic, and the colours are bright but not offending to the eyes. You can see clearly through the front and back covers, but if you're not a fan of that you are more than capable of getting creative with scrap paper to make cover pages.On the Campus paper included with the notebook covers, it is thick enough where highlighter/pen/marker does not bleed through but smooth enough to have no issue writing (even with 0.38mm pen).

Honestly my favorite type of paper. I was so used to it growing up in Japan and never really appreciated but once I came to the states I couldn’t find binder paper that was thick enough to not let the pen ink become see through from the back, or B5 paper with 26 or something holes.

This set is so thoughtfully put together and is perfect for any student. The notebooks are so well designed and vastly superior to that of most American notebooks. Everything included is so worth the purchase and I was lucky to find all of this at a great price.
