My original one has 9 channels, now there are 2 choices - 7 channels or 12 channels. The 7 channel pad is, in my opinion, too small. The 12 channel pad is more than I need. I bought the 7 channel pad. It falls off my shoulders. Why doesn't it have some kind of closure, like a button or snap?
