Our cat like most love to scratch at the carpet. We have a nice incline ramp and a tall post, but she wants nothing to do with them. This obviously is not a good thing, especially when you are renting. Thankfully she doesn't mind having her paws handled, so it makes putting the covers on very easy. She is looking very festive in these. When they are on she can "claw" at the carpet as much as she wants without any trouble. Makes it much friendlier when we want to play with her too.Pros: Easy to use, safe on carpet and would be great with kidsCons: They give you a lot of glue, but since it is superglue it can easily dry out. Normal superglue works just fine if you run out. The only other issue we have is if the nail is cut too short before putting them on. Just cut the tip otherwise the nail will grow too long and start to curl back. This should be avoided.Other than the couple things mentioned they are awesome and we are going to keep buying them.

I was told these are a waste of $$, cats chew them off, so for longest time i didnt buy them. But decided when i saw the good deal here on amazon. I put these nails on my young kitty and an older kitty. The young one did chew off 2 but that was it.. that was in beginning. Now he doesnt even realize they are on him! Softpaws has saved my furniture... they are gentle and the kitties can still " claw" but they dont damage anything. They look so cute on his nails too.. the green and red... ! kitties may resist at first but they get used to them. When putting on, cut nails first, then put glue in nail and put nail on. Hold cat for 5 minutes to ensure the glue has dried they may try to chew them off initially and you wouldnt want that to happen with wet glue). Glue dries fast, but hold the cat 5 minutes. They do resist at first but eventually give in.. The nails last long too! i havent replaced them yet.. i will soon when the nails grow too long, but so far so good!

I've had several cats, and have gotten most of them declawed not having been educated on the risks and dangers of it. After the last declawing leaving my kitty with a permanent limp, I decided never again. When I recently rescued a new kitty, I had to decide if I could stick with this decision... Who wants shredded drapes, right?! Luckily, these work beautifully! They are also quite stylish. The best part? Apparently most vet offices will do all the work for you, for a fee of course. Have an appointment for my girl to get her nails did today! Great product.

I've purchased these before from the product website but they were cheaper here - awesome. Great way to keep your cat from ruining your carpet or furniture. Someone visiting my house asked if I painted her nails!

Bought these for my cats for Christmas time. Can't find these colors in the pet store. They will look lovely for the holidays!
