This brand is best! Have used for multiple indoor cats for years
Only Softclaw brand is good enough to do the job. Warned by other users about off brands. I agree. Only caution- the little glue tubes included are hard to use. We use Loctite gel pen and add the tips provided in claw kit ( very end of tip snipped off) Use treats and 2 people to apply the tips after nail trim. These claw covers have saved our nice furniture and rugs for years. Must be maintained though and cats given time to accept, not chew off. Wished Amazon offered more colors in Cat Large soft claws.

They work!
My 15 lb black cat came with a contract that he would never be declawed. That's great, but he has needle sharp claws that seem to come out at the worst times. I've tried other claw covers, but they didn't work as well as these Soft Claws.I love the gold glitter color, and they look great on my black cat. The adhesive works great, the covers fit easily over his claws, and they stay on longer than other brands we've tried. He manages to get one or two off each week, but it just takes a minute to pop on a fresh one. I use them on his front feet only. I clip his back nails (just the sharp tips), and don't want to bother with them.If you haven't used claw covers before, you'll need to get your cat accustomed to having it's feet handled. Practice before you try to use the covers! You have to have the claw out of it's sheath to put the covers on, so practice that for a week or two before you add glue and a foreign object into the mix!My cat was already used to me cutting his claw tips off with nail clippers, so adding the covers was not a big deal to him. He loves to be brushed, so I take him into the bathroom and use the counter. He lays on the counter and likes to hide his head in the crook of my arm while I hug him pretty close to me. I then clip his nails, pop on a new cover (I prefill three or four with glue- it seems to work fine if it sits out in the cover for a couple minutes before applying) and then he gets a nice brushing and a kitty treat. Not traumatic!Good luck!

less holes in my couch
How am I supposed to rate comfort? Comfort for me or the cat? My cat doesn't seem to mind the gold sparkle nails, and my daughters think they're fun. In the future, I think I'd pick a color that's more easy to see, but I'll buy these again. My couches are less shredded, so there's that.

I am pleased
So far I have been pleased with my purchase. My cat is easy going when I comes to clipping his nails so putting these on were no trouble. I will say that it can be hard to tell how much glue is actually in the nail cap (all but two from the first round came off after a day). I used better lighting the next time and it was a week before I lost one. He doesn't seem to notice them and they don't affect him using his nails, they only keep the nails from tearing up furniture and my hands. I give the product 5 stars because it is way better than declawing and I've not been scratched by him since.

Seller Shipped Item with Dried Glue Tubes
I’ve used Soft Claws in the past and they work great! Unfortunately, this seller shipped me a package of soft claws with expired adhesive. The glue was rock hard in the tubes, already dried and couldn’t be used. So now I have to track down adhesive to apply these and wait until it arrives while my kitty scratches up my home and kids.Very unhappy!!!!

"New & Improved", Isn't!
The "upgraded" version of this product is stiffer and harder to squeeze to put the glue into than their original. For that reason we've ordered 2 other brands and are eager to test them out to see if they are more like the old version of Soft Paws.

Great product, but needs more funnels!
The product works wonderfully, and I only have one small gripe: they don't provide enough of the little funnels that allow you to direct the glue into the nail cap.I follow the instructions about pushing a little air thru the funnel to clear it, but invariably, next time I go to use it, the funnel is clogged. So, you end up using your cat's nail clippers to trim a little off the small end of the funnel each time you use it, making it more likely glue will get on your fingers. (I'm typing this with dried glue on mine). My cat loses 1-2 of the caps a week, so I'm using this every weekend, and run out of funnels long before I run out of caps or glue. If only they tripled the amount of funnels they provide, this would be a perfect product.

Best product to stop unwanted scratching!
Soft claws are the BEST thing ever if you have a cat that does unwanted scratching. I got a puppy back in April and I don't believe in declawing my animals, so to protect my puppy from the inevitable swipe from the cat, I bought soft claws. They just take a minute to put on and they lasted at least two weeks and they give you plenty of extras. My cat could still scratch at the post to stretch her claws, but it never did damage. Suggestion: I always clipped my cats nails before putting them on, fortunately I can handle my cat like that without being scratched in the process!
