Righty the Elephant is probably a bit softer than the Grand Old Party would like, but his namesake becomes him. His official Beanie poem, which is almost identical to the poem for Lefty, the Democratic Beanie, is fitting: Donkeys to the left, elephants to the right Often seems like a crazy sight This whole game seems very funny Until you realize they're spending your money! Perhaps an emblem of superpatriotism, half of Righty's pudgy body features red and white stripes; the other half has stars on a blue background. If it weren't for his face, trunk, and ears (which also exhibit bits of Old Glory), you'd swear he was just wearing presidential pajamas. At any rate, he's cute.
