Great product
Great product works like a charm but if you are shaving door handles on your vehicle it is essential to install not a backup switch but a backup cable to the door latch just in case because if that battery dies just in case you're not screwed( I mean run a cable all the way from the door latch hidden somewhere on the vehicle it only you know about that you can access in case the battery does die and very long one

Good product
Alittle difficult to install if you've never seen someone install before or if you haven't install a setup like this before. Once you lay out the parts and read the instructions . Then it all comes together nicely

Nice but current hungry
These seem like good quality solenoids but it takes an 40 amp fuse to make them stop blowing fuses even when wired through 40 amp relays. Also the remote programming is a bit confusing and I found you must be very quick when programming the second remote or it will time out and you must start over again. I haven't had them installed very long but they are working ok now.

Needs relays, you must know what you're doing.
Quite complex, takes a lot of testing and retesting and retesting to get right. Definitely have to have some experience in DIY for this one. It's not a kit that comes with everything, that would be impossible lol you have to get the right supplies for each individual project. Anybody who hates this kit or gives it bad reviews, they just don't know what they're doing. Lol sorry.

Would be fine in a FAT FENDER , "TRI 5" or something like that, but a BIG negative in a '31 pickup.
Barrels are HUGE, brackets even bigger, but, the solenoids packa good punch, so they work well with the OLD SCHOOL latch mechanisms. Wouldn't recommend for your "modern" applications, but ABSOLUTELY for the old school stuff!

Pop It and Lock It!
Needed to replace my old solenoids I already had installed but were a bit rusty and sticking due to moisture penetration. These are the same solenoids so they fit right into the same space. All I had to do was rewire the new relays and they worked like a charm.

Returned for being weak.
8 new holes, 2 hours of wiring and mounting just to find out, that even with 2 supposedly 85 pound solenoids, they would not open a 1941 ford door. Probably fine for newer stuff though.
