I Love You So Mochi Kindle Edition

A genuinely good read. The chapters flowed so well together that I had a hard time putting it down. A story about mochi, pugs, and passion with many incredible lessons to learn. I thought it was going to be an easy book to read while I chose another, but I was pleasantly surprised to be enveloped in the story, laughing and crying with the (beautifully diverse and well-described) characters. This is a book that will linger in my thoughts for some time.

I love the way the author shows the reader it's okay to be different and still have enough self esteem to discover your gifts in the world and have the strength to be honest with your family and friends while still respecting yourself. A great read for all ages! We all need help with ourselves and with being strong in a world that questions everything they want us to do with our lives. Be Unique and be Yourself!

Adorable story quick read. The destinations are described beautifully in authentic voices.

I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars, but leaning to the latter. Tbh, this is a very self-indulgent read for me; somehow I always ache for a chance to visit Japan again, and gosh does this intensify the ache. It's an adorable, fluffy read and while the romance is very typical and sugar-y sweet, what I love the most are the family dynamics, which definitely got me in my feels. There's a lot of fluffy soul searching and an impossible, immediately struck up romance, but hey, sometimes you just want something light and cute, and who else but teenagers are willing to risk it all after two weeks. V fluffy cute.

oh this was such a fun and beautiful coming of age book. I read it in an entire night and cried, laughed, and was so happy when it was over!
