Designed to look just like a medieval arming sword, it's durable enough to stand up to light play with its sturdy solid wood construction and full wooden tang handle. The blunt edges and a rounded tip are safe for the eyes during light sparing play WITH adult supervision. The attention to detail on this toy sword also makes it ideal for costume use. The sword measures 24” without sheath, 27” with sheath. It comes with 2 small loops on the sheath for hanging off a belt.

IT CAME BENT
It came bent. The correct term would be "warped." The wood blade is warped and it is very difficult for me, a 33 year old construction worker, to insert and extract from it's scabbard. Impossible for my 5 year old boy to get in and out. It's bent enough that it even looks weird when someone is playing with it. Anyone watching can easily see with the naked eye that the damn thing is bent.

Held together by brad nails
The scabbard has a few D rings attached so you can loop it over your kid's shoulder. Well one day at the renaissance festival was too much for it and the D rings popped out from where they were attached by brads.Use beefier hardware. I fixed it myself but I dislike having to fix design failures.

Cute! But Cheaply made.
Super cheap and flimsy but light, so easy to carry around. The sword itself was pretty splintery and not very nice to touch.

Great toy.
This came in the mail quickly and in great shape. The handle and blade is all one piece making it a little stronger. It sits loosely in the sheath and is very light weight.
