A dozen nippers for under a buck a piece that are decent quality and work well. The only negative thing I can think of is that they come with nothing to store the blades closed except for the multisleeve they come packed in. I think one could throw a small band around it to keep the sharps points closed when not in use or stick them into a piece of sponge. These are sharp and not made for young children as one could easily poke themselves with sharp blades, ruining their whole afternoon. Other than that they are a top notch product and well worth adding to your arsenal of trimmers.

I have used this type of snip for many years, these work well and are very handy to have when I am sewing and at the longarm. I gave some of them as gifts to my quilting friends and they all love them!

I bought these to cut thread and string, but the plastic handle isn't strong enough to hold the blades together. Because of this, the blades separate when trying to cut instead of actually cutting. I am returning.

These little scissors nip with precision and are easily tucked into a craft kit for travel. I adore them and store a pair by my sewing machine, each loom, my car, purse and craft kit.

They are handy little sharp snippers. I use them for threads and plants.
