2002 Chevy Silverado Diecast Model Pick Up Truck - 1:18 Scale RED

This truck was intended as a Christmas gift for a small child of 3 1/2 years of age but when the father saw it he wanted it for himself. As soon as I saw the quality of the item and the manufacturing details I could not disagree that it was not intended for a little child. I knew from reading the description when ordering it that it was actually for 7-8 year old children but even a child that age may not be able to appreciate the quality and the details. It is very well made. Also, after seeing it, I was once again surprised at the price for which it is offered. I thought when I ordered it that I was getting a low quality "toy" but upon arrival I saw that the price is low compared to the high quality of the item and packaging. I am not a collector of anything and don't know that this vehicle is desirable for collection but I think if I were collecting it might be worth keeping for that purpose rather than for a child to play with.

Hot Chevy model when complete. For such a simple eighteen or so parts, the directions were non=specific and the tires were a pain to mount on the plastic wheels.

This truck is heavier than I expected. When I received my order, the shipping box was fine but the truck itself had the driver's door hanging off due to a broken hinge and the paint was scraped like it had been previously used. Needless to say I wasn't very happy with it but to Amazons credit, i was able to return it the same day, reorder it, and the 2nd try arrived 1 day earlier than I was expecting. My account was even credited prior to them receiving the damaged item back! Kudos and much respect to Amazon! I couldn't be happier. This was a gift that i detailed in ladybug graphics for my sister and she posted the pics all over facebook. #RiverView Plumbing&Mechanical LLC.
