Good belt, but find your optimum wearing style
Bought this to cater for longer runs (10 to 15 miles) in warmer weather and took me a short while to adjust the belt. The instructions state the bottles can be worn front and rear but wearing the bottles on the back caused a lot of bounce, so on the front it is, and this seemed to work really well as the bottles no longer bounced but remained fairly static in line with my running rhythm. Bottles are easy to remove, drink from and replace and the pouch large enough to hold a few energy sachets. Material seems to be robust, a kind of outer wet suit material. I can get the belt tight enough to feels secure (I should do with a 34" waist :-)) but not too tight to feel restrictive, so overall I would recommend this belt.

Sceptical but after using it I'm convinced
I've always avoided buying these kind of running bags and belts, and have always ran 10-12 miles without needing water (I've always avoided the need to carry anything when running). But since upping my distance recently I knew I needed to bite the bullet and try some out. I purchased this mainly on the good reviews it had, and I'm so glad I did. Some people say they sit the belt on the hips (and I think the product description also says this), but for me it moved around a little on my hips so I moved it up around my waist - can't feel a thing! I've done a couple of hill training sessions and long distance runs with it on and I don't know it's there (at one point I actually thought it had fallen off as I couldn't feel it). Now, even on my shorter runs (runs I would never consider taking water with me) I wear the belt. If I need water it's there, if I don't then I'll drink it when I'm at home. I'm so pleased with this product, and relieved that I don't have to keep searching for the right product as I've already found it (first time!).

I really like it.
This is my first running belt i've bought. I have a larger bag for my longer walks but just wanted something small and simple for my 10k's. It's perfect. I'm a 5ft curvy female and it fits me perfectly on the tightest. But my 6ft wider husband can use it too on the loosest. I would say it might not fit smaller than a womens size 8-10, as I have it on tightest and i'm a 12. The water bottles are perfect size, not too big or clumpy and don't hit or move around when running, they have a fastener but this is also very easy to take off to drink from. I had to find some longer headphones for mine to be able to reach to the belt opening though and it's a tight fit for my samsung s8. (it fits fine, but maybe a larger phone it won't) but over all for me it's perfect for me. thanks :)

essential features
There are two essential features of an adjustable running hydration belt: first, and self-evidently, it must be shower proof. Or, better still, waterproof.Second, the zipper must be well-made and hard-wearing; a Brocken zipper will instantly leave valuable contents to loss or theft. In my opinion, the Lava Active Adjustable Running Hydration Belt meets the above criteria.True, it will house the IPhone X Max, but not when the phone is attached to a Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter.UPDATE: Despite being waterproof and having a robust zip, the stitching is coming away at the seams. What are the chances of buying another Lava Active Running Belt: the words "Snow Ball and Hell" come to mind.

Bottles are crap, belt is bouncy
The bottles are hard to open to drink, whether you use your fingers or teeth to pull the top open. Almost feels like I'm going to lose my teeth at times when pulling the top to drink.I'm relatively slim but not skinny as in I can wear a 30inch waist trouser. Even after adjusting the belt, it feels a bit loose, and bounces quite a bit.

love this product
I love this belt. I have tried many different products to enable me to carry water whilst running, and this is by far my favourite. I get no movement whilst running, like I have had with some belts. The water bottles are a handy size, and easy to slip in and out of the pouches. The zip pocket is the right size for my phone and there are some ties for gels. The least intrusive product I've found to enable you to carry 600 mls of water comfortably. Worth the price and the customer service after care was excellent as I had a leaky bottle and it was replaced within two days.

Beyond EXCELLENT !!
An excellent product, with an excellent customer service backing it up I bought the belt as I’m about to start training for my first marathon.I’ve tried several belts but this one is far superior to any others I’ve put on, for me I did a couple of small runs to get the right adjustment. It sits Comfortably on my hips, there’s no chaffing, rubbing or any discomfort whatsoever. I can carry everything I need and more, it’s so good I’m planning to purchase another as a Christmas present for my running partner. My first belt developed a small fault, I contacted customer service and I received a replacement within a week. The new belt is faultless, and is performing as well as the first one, unusual as improvements usually kill a product, I cannot recommend it highly enough. It has become an essential part of my running preparations. I love this belt !!!

A fluid purchase
I am not the fastest runner but I like to roam around at my own pace. However, I do overheat quite easily and I hate carrying plastic bottles or wearing a back-pack. This belt enables you to carry a good amount of fluid, a safe place for your keys, and it does not rub against your hips as you run. It has been designed very well and it has made me a better runner by eliminating the awkward gripping stance that carrying a water bottle does. A definite bargain! And the bottles don't leak as you run!!!
