CHAUVET DJ Obey 6 Universal DMX-512 Compact Stage Light Controller

The Obey 6 light controller is a very nice controller, only problem I had was it works better if you use it with separate lights, I used it with the mini light bar, which it worked but can't really control the program on the mini light strip, but using separate lights it works great, love the strobe section.pretty sensitive to pick up sounds, this is good, also can be set for sensitivity levels. many options on this controller

Great product very happy with

I gave this one star because that is the lowest one I could give. I have connected this controller to two LED RGBA lights and I am getting random colors that do not match the label designation, and the lights randomly pulse. I waited 45 minutes on customer service where I started out as number 1 in line, after the 45 minute wait I got transferred to another automated line that informed me that customer service was not available at this time. The product box this item came in was resealed, and there was a loose part inside the unit. Amazon was quick to replace.

I am using this board with the ADJ tripar led's and it works great. By far the best choice for the money.

I must say -- this was a FUN unit to work with -- easy to use, pre-set colors are quick to call up and I loved the ability to have it run a cycle with quick overrides, making for fun and interactive use in a live set! I can see how this would be lots of fun. AND -- I had to give it 2 STARS overall. Why so low? Chauvet reversed their implementation of Amber and White in the color order, from what is used by Every. Other. Manufacturer. The industry standard (if there IS a standard), that I found by looking at several different manufacturer specs, is RGBWA+UV. I looked at the ADJ Mega Hex PAR, ADJ 7P HEXT IP, Rainbow Lights units (Extreme and Extreme Pro), and Elation SIXPAR 300 to support this. Chauvet is different, implementing theirs as RGBAW+UV. So -- if you use Chauvet lights -- this may be a great fun unit for you. If you use anything else, most of the preset colors will NOT be accurate for you.

I have four EVO RGB-UV Bar16, they're pretty great. I'm using the ADJ Hexcon and it doesn't fully work these lights like there are some colors it tries or something and the lights go black till it hits the next color. You can get fancy and try and program sequences in and design scenes. I just wanted simple plug and play. This unit says it will do rgb-uv and rgbw but it didn't do it plug and play. I stayed with the Hexcon

This lighting controller will do the job for basic lighting needs. But it was missing a programming function which was ultimately what I was looking for. But it is also pretty flimsy and the blue LEDs are super bright and annoying.

I have a Obey 3 which took me a while to understand completely, (a superb bit of kit for the price), looking forward to learning all about the '6'. I am enjoying the challenge so far. I'm sure this will be another gem once I've mastered it. It's hard being a DMX thicko...but I will get there in the end!

Contrôleur efficace et impressionnant par la diversité des effets proposés. Un petit "couac" lorsque l'on assigne la fonction "sound " à plusieurs éclairages, il fallait se douter que le contrôleur était doté d'un micro , oui c'est logique : cependant il est installé au plus bas du contrôleur . Si on prépare un flight ou un support il ne faudra pas oublié de laisser un grand volume sous le contrôleur afin que la fonction "sound" ne soit pas affectée par "l'étouffement" prématuré du micro . Autre point à améliorer la longueur du cordon d'alimentation , &m c'est un peu court.

Um ein DMX Steuergerät vernünftig einsetzen zu können benötigt man auch eine ausführliche Bedienungsanleitung, dies ist hier nicht gegeben. Mehr als auf der Frontplatte als Beschriftung zu lesen ist findet man nicht in der Anleitung, man muß alles mehr oder weniger selbst herausfinden. Leider besitzt dieses Gerät zudem keine Möglichkeit DMX Kanäle zuzuweisen. Auch stören die grellen blauen LEDs und an einem Drehknopf für die Empfindlichkeit wurde auch gespart, es ragt nur die Achse des entsprechenden Potis aus der Frontplatte heraus. Alles in Allem von mir keine Empfehlung und mein Gerät geht retour.

jai u un probleme pour la livraison en effet le livreur dis etre passer mais ne ces jamais presenté chez moi je lai u que le lendemain. de plus jaimerai savoir comment le regler car jai un novistar de chez electro depot et impossible de le faire fonctionner correctement il ne fais qu'une sorte de jeu de lumiere hors je mattendais a ce que toute les fonction marche desssu donc si on pouvez me dire clairement comment le programmer merci
