I received this beard straightener last week and have used it several times since. I must say, this is awesome! I have a medium length, thick beard and with a little beard oil and the heat set to 170, it makes my beard straight and softens it at the same time. My girlfriend is a big fan of it as well as I have caught her using it a few times now to straighten her hair since it heats up in less than a minute lol. I highly recommend this! It's quick, convenient, and does a great job. It feels like it is very well constructed and has some substance to it. pros: heats up quickly, multiple settings for different beard types, where the cord meets the brush rotates 360 for easier use, sturdy feel, great price. cons: don't really have any to note. It was backordered when I placed the order, but they were very prompt to ship it to me when it came in and I still received it within a week of ordering. Hope this helps. I love mine!

Update!! After posting this, the seller reached out and made things right so I my opinion they’re a great seller and stand behind their product. Therefore I’m raising the rating to a four star because of the customer service. I would have given this ten stars if I could but the placement of the power/temperature button makes this item fairly useless. For comfortable hand placement your hand has to be on the button which when set on 430 degrees, one touch of the button and it turns off. So I find myself constantly having to turn it back on. Aside from the very poor placement of the power button, this item works amazing and does a very nice job straightening my beard. It’s just poor design which caused my low rating.

Aberlite EDC - Premium Beard Straightener works well on my 43 yr old son’s unruly beard. He is a Pastor in a Church, also teaches Theology and needs to look (and feel) as neat as possible. His unruly beard was getting out of control and he really didn’t want to cut it. So he said something like this would help. I gifted it to him and he said he is so happy with it. He said not only is it quick and easy but it heats up almost immediatly. It also has a safety shut off, not that he would forget to turn it off and put it somewhere safe with a little one in the house but he said it’s a good feature to have regardless. The only smell it had was the first time he used it, other than that it was the type of thing you get when first using a curling iron or toaster. He said it’s extremely light weight and while the. bristles aren’t soft they certainly do not hurt when using. He said this was a great gift which he personally wouldn’t have been able to afford which I feel was a bit pricey but when compared to the straightening irons women and girls get this was nothing compared to that. I also feel when he has to travel he will have no issue due to the small nature of this item. I am glad I made this purchase because Moms always want to see their sons happy at any age. Also looking neat and presentable.

Great brush, my husband really enjoy using it. It worked great until today. We've had it about a year. The power button will not turn the brush on. The digital display just flashes and brush won't turn on.

Helps to style my shortish grey beard nicely. I enjoy the digital display and quick heat-up time. A high quality grooming item.

this is a great product. even through it is corded. works great. takes a little longer to heat u.p though. great size. i have medium to long beard

This is a high quality straightener at a great value. For the bearded man with a longer and fuller beard this model is ideal due to the longer, thicker teeth making it easier to get through the layers of hair without fear of snagging and pulling (with proper brushing technique and pacing). The curved teeth at the edges of the brush are ideal for getting under the jaw and into the under beard and for adding a nice rounded effect to the beard. The temperature settings offering a nice range of heat with the base or one tick higher being my preferred setting. Stay under four hundred unless you have a heat spray otherwise you may risk damaging your beard. The only downfall is that it can be difficult to clean and if you do not clean it the excess product in your beard; oil, balm and butter can burn onto the teeth and form a dark brown residue. I recommended using cleaning wipes and a tooth pick or thin knife to clean it. Place the wipe over the teeth and use the tooth pick / knife to press the wipe in between the teeth and remove the excess product. It is a timely process but is necessary. As the headline says, it is a great and reliable product at a great value, worth your consideration and proves that you do not need to spend a lot of money to straighten your beard.

My naturally wavy beard becomes straight after about 30 seconds of combing through, up and down, and it stays pretty straight for about 2-3 days after use (I use it twice per week as I'm told daily use could dry out the beard hair too much and cause breakage).
