Excellent product and good price. Easy to install.
I first got this for our master bath renovation back in Aug 2011. It was easy to install and works just GREAT. Using a Honeywell programmable thermostat, we crank it up to 84 for an hour in the morning and then let it stabilize at 70 for the rest of the day. We turn it off in the summer and just run it from around Sept/Oct - to - May. Electric usage is minimal.Really the only thing to be careful about is to be careful when you staple down the sensor wires. But the mat is just cake to staple down since you are stapling the mesh - not the wires so it's very safe and easy.

Not happy and wish I didn't buy/install this product.
Ot impressed with this product. The installation is okay but is complicated if installing on wooden sub floor and placing vinyl floors over it. It takes some time to heat up so you notice the warmth. Power use is high too.I'm sure it works well for some just not for me.

Was installed according to directions under ceramic tile and hooked up by a licensed electrician. Never came on! VERY disappointing!!

Great performance at a great price
This in floor heating mat performs just as it should, at a fraction of the cost of other brands. Easy install if you have a general idea of what you're doing. (I personally was tiling my bathroom, so just taped it in place and poured some self leveling concrete over it.Just keep in mind, this is to warm your feet, as a comfort type thing, this will not replace your heat source in that room.

Disappointed
I'm a general contractor who has installed this system in the past on a few occasions. I just did a bathroom for a customer using this product and after the floor worked beautifully for about 1 month, it just stopped working. I installed this same system in their old house back in 2008 and it had worked fine and was still working when they sold it back in the summer. I installed a kitchen with the same product back in 2007/2008 and that too has been working to this day because it was for a close friend of mine and I am there two or three times a year. I was on the phone yesterday with a very helpful gentleman from the company and he gave me the process of doing electrical test on both the power out of thermostat and to test the leads coming back to the ground. I won't be able to do this for a week or so but I have to say this creates an issue for me with my customer. One of the questions asked was "did you use the plastic trowel" which I did. My problem with that sort of questioning is do you automatically look for "how I could have done something wrong" as opposed to "could there be a problem with your product". Thermostat just stopped working and when you go to turn on the heat with the circular control, it doesn't click anymore. Sounds to me like the thermostat is faulty because her brother who is an electrician over the weekend checked all the connections and made sure it was still getting power. As always, I took pictures of the installed product before covering it with thinset showing how the sensors were properly installed in the mat as per recommendation. System is on it's own dedicated circuit and it was covered with thinset and allowed to harder days before the tile installation with protection placed over it even though the foot traffic was limited. It worked for about one month because the flooring was completed 2 days before Christmas and they just told me about the issue yesterday. I thought I would hear "we are going to send you another thermostat because it sounds as if the one you paid for went bad". I heard check all the connections because it sounds "as if you probably did something wrong during your installation". I've been in business for over 15 years for myself and in the business for about 30 altogether. I'm no weekend warrior when it comes to work and I'm very competent. When they go to do their kitchen in a few years, I wonder if this will hinder their decision to have me do it? That bothers me because this issue will obviously put a blemish on me as the general contractor/installer. I'm not the contractor you see in the news about bad business practices. I have never been sued, I have lots of repeat customers (like this one) and I have great customer referral business too. It might be time to find another product. I'm very disappointed and I'm sure my customer, though very nice on the phone, is just as disappointed.

Installed in 2007 with the digital Timer
The timer is not super user friendly. But the mattes still work well and so does the timer. Nice product! I would recommend. I am reviewing products now 2012 because I have another project coming.

Great item
Good item still working after 3 years and it was a great price. I had to call the company to get some laying instructions and they were fast to help.
