Not nearly as sleek as they look online
Pros: The shakers are nice and big, with good size holes that would easily allow a decent amount of seasoning out but not deluge your food in a flood of salt or pepper.Cons: Even in the white and black set, the colors of the top and bottom don't match. Worse, the material is different, so the texture isn't the same - the bottom is glossy, but the top colored section is matt and rough. The whole thing doesn't look nearly as high-end as I had hoped; in fact it looks somewhat cheap, unfortunately.

Too expensive to be so cheap
Perhaps the mistake is mine, but I thought these were enamel-coated steel and glass. They're not. The only bit of steel on these is the thin line separating the top and the bottom portions and the part with the holes. They're plastic and they look very cheap. Also, the plastic is poorly cut and machined and has sharp bits that stick out. I think I even cut myself on one!The seller offered to send me a different model - for free - when I contacted them. The other model also looked cheap and we decided we'd rather just return these and get a different set for around the same price. (We chose the 'Houseables Salt and Pepper Shakers' because they're stainless steel and glass and come with a carry tray/stand.) So, while I appreciate the seller's offer, I don't think this item is worth the money. I don't think I would have paid more than $5 for them if I'd know they were mostly plastic, and even then, I would have done so begrudgingly because even dollar store salt/pepper shakers are glass/metal. These just fall short on multiple levels.

Nice set, not colored as pictured
From the attached picture, on the left is what I ordered, on the right as what I received today. It’s not exactly what I wanted, but I’m thinking maybe the stainless steel is better. I’m not a huge fan of stainless steel, but at least there’s no danger of the top not matching the bottom color wise.

Nonfunctional
These may be really pretty to look at, but they are completely nonfunctional. The holes in the top are way too big, so they always end up dumping way too much salt and pepper all over your food. If anyone tips one over on the table, it’s a huge mess to clean up. I have also found that the lids leak salt and pepper where they are screwed on. I wish I could return these, only have had them about one month, but unfortunately I have barely missed the return window. I will have to look for a replacement anyhow as these just will not work.

Great design, lids are poor quality
I liked the size and design of this shaker set, but was disappointed in the quality of the plastic lids. The base of each is glass and glossy black or white lacquer (I think?) - very durable and attractive. The lids are plastic, and both in my set arrived with scuffs along the edge, looking as if they’d been dropped on a cement floor. Probably my biggest issue was that the lid of the white shaker was not the same shade of white as the base. The base was glossy bright white, but the lid was more of an off-white. I might have considered keeping them if the color difference was not so apparent. My dishes are also bright white, so it would have been obvious. I ended up returning this set for a refund. If the manufacturer could assure me that my set was a random flaw, and not all sets are made this way, I might consider re-ordering the set, as I did like the size and design.

Are We All Reviewing The Same Product?!?
These are roomy but not bulky-they aren’t ridiculously narrow like most shakers, which tends to make others hard to fill. I love the color! Usually, a salt and pepper shaker will have fewer holes and/or a “p” on the pepper shaker. These do not-however, you can see the bottom of the bottles so you can easily tell which is which. I saw one review mentioning that they were surprisingly flimsy, cheaply made, and the color is different from what is pictured. I feel like they’re reviewing an entirely different product, and perhaps they are, because mine are sturdier than other sets I’ve used, and the color is the identical shade of aqua as is pictured. To be honest, close to $20 is more than I’ve typically spent for a salt and pepper shaker set, I tend to buy the flimsy plastic ones that cost less than the condiments-sometimes they include the condiments-so my expectations may have been a bit high-and these exceeded my expectations, I’m glad I spent the money for them. I’ve always been partial to the color and I’ve been really happy that the shade I love has seen a resurgence in popularity in the retro kitchen niche-I’m taking full advantage! The quality doesn’t suffer one bit!

Looks like they have been used
The photo on Amazon looked like just what I wanted but when they arrivel, they were not a shiny as in the picture and the color was off. They are not red, but almost pink!!! Then when I looked closely, there were sticky substance on the out side and what looks like the remains of salt on the inside. I would suggest buying something else. I will be sending them back and choosing a different company.

Love them
...Can’t believe I’m writing this detailed of a review for a salt and pepper shaker... lolI’ve been using these about every day for the last 2 weeks, with a 4-person meal plan with Hello Fresh and EveryPlate (btw, I LOVE these services). I’ve gone through about ½ of the bottles and they’ve been working great!Reading the 1-star reviews, the biggest complaints I saw was color/texture mismatch, too much coming out, the lid falling off and it not being dishwasher safe.I got the black and white bottles. Color is matched, but texture is slightly mismatched. The lid is more matte and the body is more glossy. Noticeable if you’re looking for it, but no biggie. The salt comes out significantly faster, but still comes out just fine. If anything I would just want the pepper to come out faster.Like I said, I’ve been using them almost daily for 2 weeks. I just checked for the first time and the lids are still on tight. No biggie to hand wash these. I won’t be putting them in the dishwasher, just to be safe. These look good and work good 5 out of 5 all around. Performs on par with a $500 luxury salt or pepper shaker :-P

Just what I was looking for.

Way overpriced.
I compared these to my $16.99 salt and pepper shakers and they are no better. These go back even if I have to pay.

Good quality sensible to fill not like having those awkward little rubber stoppers, that don't always work, vibrant colour and good value,
