Not so good. The use by date was sooner than I expected. Only had a short time to eat them.

I like moon pies, so I ordered this thinking it would be a good idea. The plan was to enjoy a few, share some with friends, maybe find people who have never had a moon pie before and share with them too to enhance their lives. I didn't read this as thoroughly as I probably should have, and it was only when I received the shipment that I realized I didn't order a box of 12, but actually eight boxes.I know what you're thinking. You're thinking the price would have been a giveaway. Unfortunately, I was so excited to have a moon pie, I just added it to the cart, and when I was confirming the order, I had ordered a few things at once, and didn't think much of it when I saw the total order price. I never claimed to be a smart man.So I got 96 of these delicious snack cakes delivered, which led to another problem. I now saw it as a personal challenge to consume them all myself instead of sharing. I didn't want to just go through them like I'm in some eating competition, because then I wouldn't really get to enjoy them, but I'm still eating them more often than I probably should. I'm now on my last box and I feel like I'm nearing the end of a short but satisfying journey. I don't know what will happen once they're all gone. I tremble slightly at the thought.

Oh I could not have been happier this year. Passing out these individually wrapped gems evoked incredible memories and smiles. We were individually amazed that the 1st bite sucked so much salvia out of or mouth as we realized with age we had a discerning taste. Perfect for trick or treat...lol

For the life of me, I don't understand why I thought I was ordering chocolate - it's my aging eyes. Anyway Moon Pies in any flavor are a good deal - it is a southern tradition that you have them with RC Cola. These are good-sized desserts (is it a cookie or a cake?). And they are available in smaller quantities cuz 96 is a wee bit much for this single guy. Nevertheless, this is a "sweet deal".

For the price I paid the date should be longer, less than a month to consume the product

I needed these for a grade level incentive and they were perfect. Enough for all the kids plus extras. It made it so much easier for me then running around to a ton of stores.

Moon pies are from Chattanooga, and my son is getting married there. I bought these as favors at the rehearsal dinner and put them in cute little bags that said tomorrow is gonna be the best day ever. Great value for the price!
