I bought this radiator heater to replace a ceramic heater, which, like other heaters of the same type, can be quite noisy. After a month of use I am happy with with heater. I like the digital temperature control and timer, which are handy to use. As for the noise it is much better than the ceramic heater I have and only makes very weak ticking sound when the heating cycle starts. Overall this is a good radiator heater.

It does heat up fairly fast, but will take time to heat up a room. I use it to heat my bedroom. Living alone there is no need for me to heat an entire three bedroom house. I spend most of my time in my own room so that's the one I need to be comfortable. Like I said, it does take some time to heat the room, but once it does it maintains the rooms heat admirably. I sometimes run the central heat first, closing off rooms I don't use at all, to get things heated up and then just maintain my rooms temperature with this heater keeping my room warmer than the rest of the house by turning down the central heat. It does the job and is more cost effective for a single retired old guy like me living on social security.

The best advantsge of the oil filled heaters is that they are so quiet. The installation of the wheels are a must no matter you want to make it mobile or not. It’s quite heavy I doubt I would like to move it a lot.

I really liked the look and performance of this product and expected many years of use from it. It has died after 14 months of use and I would not buy it again! The unit I had replaced with this one had lasted me 20 years so my expectation was that this unit (which is similar in all ways other than color) would be alike in the number of working years. Boy was I wrong! Don't buy it unless you plan on replacing it yearly! Because it did work well for those 14 months I am giving it 3 stars. Otherwise it would be lower rated.

The heater does not work properly and the company is sending us through the ringer before accepting our return.

Used it to replace a older heater that burned out it's thermostat after 5 years. I have several other oil heaters in this house with a basement and some downstairs bedrooms that don't get a great deal of use. I use the heaters to keep the chill and any moisture out of those rooms. After using this model for a couple of weeks I noticed that it doesn't feel as warm as others (including the one I replaced). I played with the heater controls for a couple of days, and finally just ran it up to full power with the same poor results. I'll try to find a smaller area that it may work well enough before I just chuck it.I don't recommend this heater (neither do my cats who used to like to sleep near the old heater I replaced).
