This product is impractical except in the most extreme of circumstances. If you have the phone in the case and are charging, it does not charge simultaneous to the phone. When the phone's power is diminishing, it does not automatically kick in to maintain a minimum charge on the device. You have to tell it to charge the phone; however, it charges so slowly that the phone's power diminishes more quickly than it is replenished, unless you are leaving the phone untouched while it is charging. In that case, spend less money on a USB power stick that will likely charge at a faster rate without the expectation that it will do so automatically and efficiently.

JUNK! I kept gettting alarms on my phone warning me of low charging rate and that I should plug it in to a "genuine" HTC charger. The connection to the phone was fiddly and would only connect intermittently. Eventually, I threw it away after it fell from a desktop and stopped working altogether.

It serves its purpose but takes long time to charge itself!

It would be great.....if it worked....when it actually charges it does so very slow. But most times it charges 1-10 seconds then stops and leds on back turn off. The kickstand is nice though that's why I gave it two stars instead of one.

Stop working after 2 mouths

I love it. Just which it had a border on the side because my palm sometimes swype the screen messing me up when I'm typing, maybe my hand is just big haha. Still love it.

So it worked great the first few weeks, but now it takes forever to charge, like 4 hours, and for one extra 80% charge that's too much, but now it only charges about 40% on a full charge. 4 hour charge time for an extra 40%? Not worth the $30. And do not charge with the phone inside. I bought two and the first one damn near caught on fire when I did this, which is ridiculous cause most allow to charge both the case, then the phone while connected.

I gave this item 2 stars only because it arrived when promised and because it turned on. Turning on by the way, is my biggest problem. The unit randomly turns on in my pocket and drains any backup battery I could hope to use later. I've had multiple phones with multiple battery cases and this, by far, is the worst experience I've had. The charge this unit holds is minimal. Don't buy.
