1982 Chevrolet Camaro Spectra Red 1/18 by Sunstar 1920

This is essentially a re-issue of the 1:18 Camaro Z-28 model from Sunstar that was first released some years back. I have the all of the original models and two of the new issues. The quality and level of detail is equal to the first editions. For the price point the models are well made, have a sufficient level of detail, and are of good quality. There have been very limited selection of models made of third generation (1982-1992) F-Body Camaro/Firebird cars produced to date. Thanks to Sunstar for making these models. Please make more third generation F-body cars, including some Firebird's and Trans AM's of the same vintage.

Not a junky model but the hood was off alignment (Had to bend it a little for it to fit correctly) and some of the decals were peeling off a bit. I'm happy they made this model as there are not very many 1982-1992 F-bodies in 1/18 scale. The Maisto brand models are $20 less and have a better fit and finish, too bad they don't make a 3rd gen Camaro/Firebird. Basically buy this model if you HAVE to have a 3rd gen camaro model, otherwise do without or wait for a better quality model to be released.
