R RUNVEL Men's Lightweight Waterproof Jacket Windproof Outdoor Hiking Coat with Hood

This jacket is a no-brainer at the price. Fits great, new medium old large on the label and I am a 38-40 chest so ordered Medium. OK it doesn't brand itself with names that suggest you are off to, or just returned from, Everest, the Eiger or the Matterhorn but for taking the dog out or a walk or feeding chickens on a miserable morning it's great. Yes the non-pocket on the chest is a bit naff but I have paid 3 or 4 times this price for a jacket that boasted a mobile phone pocket which wouldn't have accommodated a credit card!. If you are into branding and think you need, and can afford, a Range Rover to negotiate the puddles on a Waitrose car park this is not for you. But a working jacket at this price........?

Pros: Lightweight, good looking, fits great.Cons: Breast pocket is fake.This coat is absolutely brilliant, easy to put on and take off, keeps you warm and looks fantastic. The only negative I have for this coat is the beat pocket is one of those fake imitation pockets which is a slight disappointment. But other than that I'm thrilled with this coat and would definitely recommend if your looking for a simple but good quality coat.

Not remotely waterproof. Rain soaks through if anything more than a light shower.Also - not breathable - soaking wet inside - without rain.What is the point of the false pocket on the breast?

Great coat, glad I read the questions first as I was going to get the fleece-lined version but this one is warm enough for my needs. Fits great and is comfortable - my wife said it makes me look slim, I think she meant it as a compliment. Good at keeping the wind and rain out when walking the dog (I presume it works just as well without the dog too) and light enough so I don't overheat. Exactly what I wanted and a good price too.

put it on today for the first time & it let in water to the back & both sleeves how they can claim its water proof is a joke I will contact the seller to get there reaction

On first inspection I was quite impressed with this jacket.....and then I wore it in the rain!Quite simply it's not waterproof - not in the slightest. Even in a moderate shower the rain soaks straight through, especially on the arms. In heavier rain, you may as well take it off altogether as it is utterly useless.It's a shame as it's a decent looking jacket and comfortable to wear so long as it isn't raining. Unfortunately as a walking jacket it's not fit for purpose and I returned it,

Good quality build with zipped pockets & detachable hood. Withstood gale force winds & rain with no problems. Great buy.

The design it’s great and fits perfectly, true to size but not at all waterproof! My boyfriend used it many times under heavy rain and it always got home soaking wet!
