Small
Much smaller than it looks. Good for bantams or chicks, but is too small for standard chickens. Thankfully I only bought it to keep new chicks in inside the big coupe to get the flocks associated with the new birds. I would feel terrible keeping more than one maybe two birds in this cage. They use it now as a perch, they do love the peak of the house. The picture makes it look huge compared to the chickens, that is not the case. Go off the dimensions then take away a couple more inches and that's more like it. I do have to give it props for not burning down when the chicks knocked the heat lamp down inside the coupe onto the tray!
