Wonderful!
I grew this on a make-shift trellis of old tent poles and twine. These vines grew vigorously and produced will until our Zone 8 summer got too hot. Once the heatwave passed they started producing again. I was pretty happy with them I used them as a greenbean and a dry bean. While I personally prefer bush beans I did like them. Their flavor was great. They did get stringy if I didnt stay on top of picking them - but that's on me. Nearly any bean starts to get tough if you let it grow too long. For the Summer of 2024 I will absolutely grow them again. I grow bush for large harvest all at once/ storage purposes and the vines are great for having greenbeans all summer. I'm also happy this bean makes a great dual purpose bean! The vines grew probably 15 feet. The trellis I made was 10 feet. After reaching the top they began to wind back down. It was incredible how much they grew.

Great beans
I have had great results with these beans as far as starts. About 90-95% germination. My only gripe is the paper packaging, I would recommend plastic\mylar bags. The basic paper packaging broke down quickly in my greenhouse.Beans haven't started to flower yet, but they are growing great.

Wow so easy to grow and can! Very tastey.
So it means pole. You have to put up some tall ass posts and string up some twine all the way across up and down from the bottom to the top. When the stalk starts going back to the bottom then weave them back into the string and send the vine back up to the top. These beans like to be picked leave them there and they quit producing. They are awesome to can and have no strings. Sweet enough to eat off the vine in the garden. You can fill up a Qt jar fast as they are so long that you can cut 3 beans out of one. They do not need to be strung. No strings in these beans. Go for it. You'll and your neighbors(there is a hell of a lot of them if you keep picking and weaving). and mom will be proud of you. We had beans into the end of November. Remember keep picking and weaving back up toward the sky. They do not like to hit the ground. Also the beans on the inside for the ones you missed picking are great to shell out and add to your pot when cooking the green beans.

great crop!
My husband planted these, along with pole wax beans, in our vegetable garden. What a huge crop we got. We had to can over 50 jars, frenching the beans. They look beautiful, and more importantly, they taste great!!!

Seeds were diseased
Received the seeds and planted them. They all germinated and started growing beautifully. After they grew to be about 6 inches tall the plants started to become deformed. After some research I discovered that all the seeds were harvested and shipped with disease. Now, I have to pull up all the plants and reseed a new variety. Wasted my money and time on the product. So dissappointed.
