Good for the family
I had a great time playing with my daughter. She enjoyed it so much and kept building different things as well as destroying everything I built. I was impressed by the strength of the magnets. If you're planning on using this with toddlers I recommend that you do not leave them alone at all since they are small pieces and they can choke. This is great for passing the time and it's good for any age. I actually had fun with my daughter and we ended up losing track time.

Smaller than expected
It turned out to be much smaller than it seemed on the picture. Also you won't be able to make a pyramid like main picture shows as it requires much more pieces. Other than that it's a good toy and my son played with it for a couple of days.

Very versatile, expanding your horizon.
Very versatile of the thing you can do with them. It was a gift for my 6 year old nephew. He loves it. It really help expand kids imagination! I personally love the idea of these things. I almost wanted to buy some for myself. Highly recommended for kids and adults.

Nice presentation
Very nice... it came in a silky black hard case (resembles a case for sunglasses) that zips closed. My mom enjoyed my nephews magnets so I bought her a kit with more pieces for herself she loves it.

So colorful, a like having a rainbow in a box.
When we opened up the box from this box of barrells and balls, my three-year-old fell in love. She had been attached to some new Barbie clothes that she had gotten about a week before we opened this… taking them mto bed, doing them in her backpack and taking them out to the store, snoozing with them at night, to watch TV with the family, and the list goes on. Now, she's not doing that with Barbie anymore. She's only doing it with this set of magnets and intervening balls which help the bar stake different shapes.. She does one more thing with the set that she didn't do with barbie. She actually sleeps with these magnets . She makes a game out of going to bed… she picks her own bar to hold and pretends if it's still in her hand, that she was able, in her sleep, to cause a beautiful rainbow to happen somewhere in the world where people needed a rainbow to make them happy. She has made 5 rainbows so far, and I am very joyful, and thankful to the maker for production of such a wonderful item. Now I know that this toy was not made for 3 year olds. Most children of that age should not be given this toy because of safety issues. But my daughter is different than other children, in that she's learned from the beginning of her life to 3 years old that things are the way they are supposed to be created because every action has a reaction, whether that be God's plan or karma. Both ways I'd say the process depends in what kind of action was taken. She already understands that and knows that these barrels and balls are dangerous to her little 18month old brother. She is a very different 3year old than others, though. The fact is... there should be a very noticeable age warning on this toy. Please write in large text that the kit is only safe to be used by children aged 6 years and older. I couldn't be happier to have a child who already looks to be well beyond her years. I still double and triple check all new toys to make sure they are safe for HER. We have our own game and toy age limits and requirements, and it works for us. I would never post our system and say everyone should follow it for their kids. Anyway, with a notice on the packaging of this toy about age six guidelines, all kids who play with it can do so safely.
