Hat Stretcher Adjustable Turnbuckle Hat Jack Suitable for All Hat Sizes Hat Stretcher for Fitted Hats Three Colors

I purchased this hat stretcher because my favorite hat shrank after being in a rainstorm a few years ago. I followed on-line directions, steaming, then utilizing this hat stretcher to get the hat to fit once again. It took three different efforts, but I now have my favorite hat available to use once again! Well worth the price!

9 1/2 is NOT the hat size. If you wear a men’s 7 3/4 Hat Size that will push this stretcher to the limit.

… it doesn’t even come close to stretching anything bigger than a size eight. I modified the stretcher to make it work for me. I should have read some of the earlier comments before but I purchased the thing.

This is a well made stretcher that works fine on my 7 3/8 size fabric Panama-style hats as well as wool outback-style hats. This should work well for a wide range of smaller and larger sizes.

Bought to try on a waxed cotton rain hat. Tightened gradually over two days and applied very light steam. Great results so far. Even if I have to restretch, it's worth it for a hundred dollar hat.

This is a good product and does exactly what it claims to. Put it in you hat making sure it sits on the sweat band twist the inner piece until there is tension then use steam that may be the most important part. Keep the hat stretcher in until the hat dries from the steam used and you can easily go up a 1/4 size. Need it to be bigger just repeat the same steps

Needed to expand my Panama Hat a bit for a better fit. This hat stretcher did the trick. The stretcher is easy to use and it did work on my hat. Very happy.

Second one I've bought and both have split the cheap pine wood when tightened down! also the threads strip out of the aluminum turnbuckle if you put even medium pressure on it. Will look for a hardwood one with a STEEL turnbuckle even ifit costs a few bucks more.

This is a useful device that is well made and quite a bit cheaper than similar ones made in the USA. It will stretch quite a broad spectrum of hat sizes. That said, don't expect it to stretch your new hat a lot - and you may have to try it a couple of times to get the fit you need.

Works great. Used it on a few 59fifty hats. Just steam the hat as you adjust the size. Easy to use.

It is definitely not 9 1/2 I were and size 8 profit and it is just barely snug fully extended.
