I love the color. The issue here is the finishing around the edges. It must be some sort of colored glue that they use to hold it together. And it’s overlapping onto the finished product. Anyone who would of quality controlled this item should NOT of passed it thru inspection. I was very pleasantly surprised that the vendor got in touch with me after my initial review. He was very polite and addressed the situation promptly, I told him that i didn’t really want to have to pay for shipping to send back the original defective case. He offered a replacement and let me keep the original. I went with the red case this time since it looked darker and looks like it would hide any imperfections better. Replacement is great and looks nice on my new MacBook Pro. Thank you and you would buy and recommend the seller. Customer service is top notch!Changing my 3 ⭐️ rating to a 5 ⭐️ rating ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the nicer "snap on" covers I've owned, but... *by T***N on November 24, 2018* I do like almost everything about this cover, but (a) the cover makes you push all lightning connectors in VERY hard to get them to seat properly and (b) the cover causes a "click" every time I open or close my Macbook. So it fits pretty good, but needs a little tweeking by the manufacturer to make it fit perfectly. Regardless, I would recommend it as it's better than the last few covers I've purchased. I just received it today and I placed it on my computer. Within minutes of typing on my computer, I noticed my wrists were hurting. The cover is held onto my computer by some tabs that come up over the surface of my laptop where my wrists rest when I type. The clips dig into and rub my skin...I have to send this back or pass along to my husband, maybe he won't be bothered by it, but it isn't going to work for me.
