LOFT by Loftex 91023 Trellis Sculpted Jacquard Bath Towel, 30" x 54", Soft Silver

I had a set of these and love them but somehow I got bleach on one of them so this was a replacement. They are really lovely towels.

Right out of the bag, this LOFT bath towel is luxuriously soft. After its pre-use wash, it remains the same size and softness. It has a variegated, sculpted pattern in dark and light grey (which Loftex calls “Soft Silver”) on one side and a plain light grey reverse. It’s thin, not deep pile, and has rolled finished edges. The visible stitching is even and tight. It’s not a luxury towel, per say, but it looks much higher end than the price would suggest. I’m rating it five stars for it’s softness, appearance, construction and value. I’d feel equally comfortable getting or giving these towels.

Although slightly thinner than expected, this is absolutely a gorgeous towel. I didn't receive a set that contains a wash cloth and a hand towel. However, the bath towel alone is enough to see the overall superb quality of this sculpted jacquard bath towel. One side of the towel reveals an intricate variegated pattern in a very trendy silver color. On the opposite side of the sculpted pattern the towel features a more traditional terry cloth fabric. The stiches are strong and the overall quality of fabric is excellent. This is definitely a type of towel that will upscale any bathroom.

...surprisingly so for a brand new bath towel. It was gentle on sensitive skin from the start; sometimes bath towels need some breaking in before they feel right. This one was soft and absorbent from its first use.

This lovely sculpted towel is absorbent, and certainly looks lovely as part of your bath decor. It is not a thick towel, as a matter of fact, for a sculpted towel it is on the thin side.Personally, I find that to be a plus and not a negative, because it takes less time and electricity to dry it.And speaking of drying it, the big plus to this particular towel is the fact that it can go into a hot dryer and come out looking beautiful. Experience has shown me that often when towels are dried on too high of a heat or for too long, they come out with the edges curled. I haven't had this problem, even though I have dried this towel a number of times.This review is for the silver color. Often, when a manufacturer claims that a textile is silver, it actually looks more gray or gunmetal colored. While it isn't metallic of course, it does seem to have more of a silverish glow as opposed to grey.Very soft and absorbent. The sculpted side feels like velour, and the other side feels more like terry loops.It's nice to have something that has a luxurious look, yet is low maintenance.

The sculpted pattern of this towel is beautiful but the towel itself it quite thin and over-priced for what you receive. I really didn't think I would like it after seeing how thin it was but it turned out to be more absorbent than expected. There were no fraying seams and very little shrinking after washing and drying several times but it didn't fluff up after washing and drying as many towels do.This is not a luxurious towel by any stretch of the imagination. The towels I've purchased locally at discount stores are much thicker, softer and cost less. If you're looking for decorative towel for a guest bathroom you might like this but I don't think it will impress your guests if they actually use it. If this was a set that included the towel, hand-towel and washcloth the price would seem more reasonable but this is just a single towel.

I ordered the 30” x 54” soft silver towel—while it’s not as thick as some of our other bath towels, its price tag is proportionally less too. I’m very happy with this towel—the velour side is very soft, and the terry backing dries just as well as the thicker, more expensive ones. Stitching is straight and strong. What I like best is the luxurious Jacquard look that gives added dimension and style, yet the design is plain enough to accommodate any bathroom scheme. The towel is 100% cotton--I have noticed no shrinking after repeated washing/drying.

Do you want a pretty towel to hang on the bar when guests come over, or a thick and durable towel that will serve you well for years? This is clearly the former. It has an attractive pattern and does work as a functional towel. That said, we bought four sets of the thickest cotton towels about twenty years ago and they still both look and work great. I would be surprised if this towel could stand up to that level of functional use. It's pretty and it works okay, but it's not the most functional towel in my house.
