I noticed the bottom of my old and reliable Dell E5550 started to bubble up. Time to change the battery!I ordered this item and I started noticing the laptop would go to sleep mode at random times despite being over 80% charged. I replaced the old battery just to see if it wasn't the laptop itself (risky move if you asked me, putting back a ballooned up battery. It wasn't the laptop, it was the new battery,I contacted Amazon who indicated it was too late for return but pointed out that the battery was still under the vendor's warranty.I contacted the vendor, who listened to my issue and determined that the battery could be faulty so they would cover it under the terms of their warranty.Not even a week later I receive the replacement / warranty battery.Over a couple weeks after installing it, no more issues and I have peace of mind now.I recommend the product and the vendor.

The most important quality for a laptop battery is that it works. This battery does. I tried a less expensive one prior to this, but while it worked originally, it wasn't charging, and when the original charge ran out, I started having constant reboots.This battery is able to be fully charged in about 2.5 hrs., about normal. I normally run with the laptop plugged in so I don't know about battery life yet. I would have to say this is a good value or the money, at a great savings overr an OEM Dell replacement battery.
