Papacito (Spanish Edition)

This is my favorite book of all the readers I have. It is very difficult to find a book for beginning high school students that is both interesting and comprehendible. There also many videos on You tube about Cartagena and Palenque that you can use with this book. We also team up with the Food classes to make arepas and Colombian candies in the home ec. room. I would suggest reading the Berto Spanish readers (Freshmen) before Papacito (Sophomores). My students are waiting for Papacito II.

My students love this book. It is a part of our FVR library. It flies off the shelf as soon as it's available. It is both funny and easy to understand.

Loved this book! It is a cute, interesting story that I know is going to engage my students. The language is very comprehensible.

I read this in about 15-20 minutes today. It seems like a great read for the Spanish Classroom. It's funny and cute. I would have loved it in High School. Easy to read with cultural plugs.
